I have had a total of 12 surgeries, 2 of these have been knee replacements. Then I found out I needed Knee Revision Surgery
(a replacement of an existing prosthetic knee) it is much more complicated then a normal knee replacement some doctors will not even do this procedure. I have been treated and cared for by a lot of good doctors in my life but Dr LaCognata and Raelyn and the team at Valley Bone & Joint Specialists are the best I have ever had, and everything you will ever want in a healthcare provider!

I was referred to Dr Lacagnata for knee replacement. From the initial consult to the surgery I was at total ease… he explained the process from beginning to end and totally assured me that the mistakes from the previous surgeon would be fixed… With my surgery was March 2 and I was under for an hour and a half… When I woke up I was up and walking three hours later with some pain… Fast forward two weeks I am in no pain physiotherapy hurts but that pain is temporary… Their front office staff also gets five stars… That’s very unusual given the economy and they don’t care attitudes most officers have but this office is different and they do care … I wish I could give them and the doctor more than five stars

I was having pain in a knee LA Cognata replaced. I went to another surgeon who asked if LA Canada had done the work. He said only 2 surgeons in all of Phoenix use the knee that I have. After 2 hours of sleep I wake up. Haven't slept more than 2 hours in years. Getting a new knee on 7/20/21. His knee lasted 2 years and has caused ALOT of pain and SLEEPLESS nights.

Due to the change of my health insurance, my amazing surgeon Dr. Eric Eifler referred me to Dr. Salvador LaCognata. I am very happy with my new Dr. He was so friendly and kind. His staff was equally as lovely.

Dr. La Cognata, Have waited about two weeks to get in. Your office staff is very rude. Day before appointment they cancelled it. They have hung up the phone on me & my husband. They did not follow through with what was needed for an appointment. So they put the blame on myself & my husband. My husband was told he was not intelligent enough to know he should follow through. So very sad that your staff would treat a patient in this way. Would never recommend this place, very, very rude. If I could do a minus star, it would be used.

To the reply: Like I said they are very rude. That is so not true. The insults were on your side. Enough said, will not waste another minute of my time.

Having my second surgery with Dr. LaCognata tomorrow morning. I love his bedside manner and feel he will do a perfect job. Raylyn his assistant is very attentive. She always takes my calls and calls me back if I leave a message. Dr. LaCognata will be taking care of my annoying joints as long as he is still practicing.

I went in for Consultation I was required to get a chest x-ray EKG and bloodwork done pre-surgery I took care of all these things drop them off in the office called and followed up and no one has ever called me back and they are pretty rude on phone as well. Called agin today was left on hold can you imagine if you had surgery and you had complications and needed to reach somebody and they just left you on hold I really do not care about their patients and have very poor communication and lack of follow up I’m going to find a new surgeon and I do not recommend this place

Dr LaCognata is wonderful I had a hip problem since a child. 3 ortho doctors told me he was the only one who could handle my replacement and revision he was wonderful. I just had to have the other hip replaced and of course by him. He is caring and down to earth. He listens. Love his staff also

The finest dr. I have experienced in his field. From the very 1st tothrough the planning of what was needed to post knee replacements. You are cared for as an individual specific to you. Your not a number. Your an INDIVIDUAL. He makes certain all your concern pre, during, post all of your procedures are met. Concerns are dealt with one to one. Dr. LaCognata is highly skilled.
I couldnt have asked for, nor have i encountered a more experienced dr. In my life.
