These reviews are a joke. San Carlos Irrigation project has a monopoly and we have no alternative so regardless of what a horrible experience it is.what choice do we have?

I've had the displeasure of being a customer for over a year and have experienced consistent outages while prices have continued to increase drastically. As everyone else has said, they are impossible to reach in the event of an outage. Never had a power company even close to as horrible/expensive as SCIP before.

Just like everyone else is saying, our bill jumped up by $150 overnight. Absolutely ridiculous. It’s also interesting that the notice on our bill says the price increase is effective September 1st, but the bill is for usage from 7/26-8/29 and we got charged the new rate. We called to discuss this because we shouldn’t be getting charged the increased rate before September 1st, but the lady didn’t care and completely disregarded our concerns. They also called last week and notified us that they gave our account number to someone else, so they were reversing charges that were posted to our account. This is a breach of our information and they refused to send us another bill for us to keep for our records even though it was their mistake. The customer service is horrible and will not help you with anything. Can’t wait for the day that this company gets taken over by an actual power company.

Bill double in a month despite using less electricity. New KWh amount to be implemented starting Sept but got it charged for Aug…. Makes no sense… as
Many other in the reviews I have experienced several outages with no access to report it or get an ETA.

If I could give a 0 I would. I wish we had options for power in this area. First off, I requested an application for service 6 weeks before I moved into my new home. I got nothing. I continued to request applications after I moved into my new home- nada. They came and turned off my power. I told the man who came to turn it off that I had been requesting power be put in my name for over 3 months with no response. He called the office and I spent time on the phone with them and was finally able to get my account set and power restored. They also attempted to shut my power off 3 months later and my bill was paid on or before the due date. Now the amount they are charging for that PCA fee is beyond ridiculous. It amounts to half of my original usage charges. We have consistent outages and we are paying for when we have been left with no power for hours at a time? I feel like we are being charged for things that are beyond our control. I am beyond frustrated and want a new power company.

SCAMMER COMPANY! My bill along with others went up by $100 overnight because once again they are adding in more fees without allerting customers (they tell us after the fact on the bill) others around me are having a $600+ payment WE ARE ALL MAD! THIS IS WRONG! Should get zero stars! This is not right to do to families trying to get by.how can we afford to live when you keep upping our price for mediocre service! Our power goes out a few times a month so it should be cheaper if anything not more!

Electric billed without exaggeration doubled when from $400 a month to now $800 a month! Absolutely absurd! And forget customer service, rude and idgaf attitude!

These guys are worthless pieces of garbage. When there's a power outage they ignore all the phone calls. This should be against the law.

Power is out and when you call to report this, they hang up on you. Very poor service! If I could give a negative rating, I would!

Government owned company says it all. Power bill jumped $200 in one month. And we don't use anymore power than normal. Its funny you wont let people use solar panels. But the government is trying to force everyone to go green.

No power. Scip cannot be cannot to report the outage. Phone just hangs up when you try to contact them. When are they actually going to the job they get paid to do?

This is a very BAD company. EVERY TIME THERE'S A THUNDERSTORM OR CLOUD BUILD UP EVERY LITTLE WIND ELECTRIC GOES OUT AND IT TAKES THEM LIKE OVER 8 HOURS JUST TO TURN THE ELECTRICITY BACK ON I KNOW BECAUSE I USE LIVE IN LA BAMBA CITY PERIDOT ARIZONA. I HATED EVERY TIME THE LIGHTS WHEN OUT. I ENVIED THE OTHER CITIES LIKE GLOBE AND SAFFORD! BAD COMPANY!

Company is the worst. Only one good customer service rep name Silvia rest are no good bad attitude and all that.also nobody answers when lights shut off phone doesn't even ring just disconnects absolutely horrible service and if you have a choice choose a different electric service to save yourself the trouble.

Been working on getting solar panels installed to work with the company and they don’t reply in any timely manner and even say they’ll contact you and don’t. We been waiting over a week after approval by inspectors and been told multiple times they would get back to us on the permission to operate to be ghosted.

This electric company is a complete joke. Rates are high, no budget billing, won't pay customers for solar usage, random power outtages. When will APS or SRP take over? Please buy these clowns out. I'd rather use a foot powered generator to power my home than to deal with this circus of a company.

This company has constant power surges and quite a few outages. I've never lived in a town where an electric company had this many issues.
