I’ve written this letter to express my heartfelt thanks to everyone at San Juan Pools for producing a product that has enabled me to significantly improve my level of physical fitness and overall health.

After serving 26 years in uniform, I retired on 1 February 2000. I was then declared 100% permanently and completely disabled by the VA for serious injuries sustained while participating in ground combat training, airborne, diving, air assault operations, and real world combat missions.

The nature and extent of those injuries made traditional forms of exercise extremely painful with an added risk of further injury. Realizing that I had to do something, my wife Deborah and I decided that swimming and aquatic resistance exercises were the best route for me to take.

After reviewing available pool options we chose San Juan’s Grand Manhattan pool to meet our needs. We found the length and depth of the Grand Manhattan perfect for lap swimming and aquatic exercise. Swimming and exercising in our pool has enabled me to regain a level of conditioning that I had all but given up on. Swimming regularly has resulted in a 40 pound weight loss, lower blood pressure, and reduced chronic pain levels.

Deb, and I also want you to know that Brian and Brenda Arthofer, owners of Ace Pools in Rio Medina Texas, and their installation team were a delight to work with. They were always professional, courteous, and extremely helpful during each phase of the project. We believe that they represent your corporation’s reputation and product line in an exemplary manner.
