San Simon Rest Area WB reviews
20This is a very nice rest stop unfortunately it has spring tails which are a form of fleas because they dont bite but they multiply fast. I had a hard time getting rid of them. 2ont be stopping here
This is a big rest area with plenty of parking for semi truck drivers and RVs. There is plenty of area’s to have a picnic and take your dog for a walk. They have dog waste baskets and plastic bags for easy clean up and disposal. They have signs posted that there may be poisonous snakes, so keep them on a leash. The restrooms are decent and they do have a small selection of vending machines. This is a good spot to stop and take a break.
Early spring means lovely flowers on the hill behind the rest area. Has a large dog exercise area. The restroom was quite clean, by rest area standards. Even had touch less water faucets. The information pavilion with details of desert life stretches the mind along with your legs. Will stop again.
Disgusting place, looked like it hadn't been leaned in a week. No toilet paper, no soap, many of the toilets were covered in poop! Even some of the walls. Of course NM, AZ and west TX have some of the worst rest areas in the country.
Unfortunately there isn't much to say about a rest stop. However, one thing that I did notice about the place is that some illiterate idiot decided to spray paint the walls, which is very pathetic considering that the fool never finished school.
Arizona's rest stops on the interstates are attractive, maintained, and the custodial staff keeps them clean in spite of heavy visitation. But if you want a really attractive rest stop, stop at the one west of Wilcox which is down the road (west) of this one. When you see the rock formations you'll see what I mean.
Very clean grounds, has a nice dog walking area, restrooms are clean and don't smell.
Good semi parking. Great view of the mountains to the south
This turned out to be a pleasant, convenient place to pull off, stock up, refresh and refuel-would recommend and revisit.
Seemed to be a safe place to stop for a while. They had vending machines where you could get a cold drink or snack, and the bathrooms were clean.
Clean parking lot plenty of parking clean restrooms and vending machines for snacks lots of plaques of information for Arizona
Nice place to stretch your legs and use the bathroom on a long drive. Has a southwest feel to it. I saw a big ass lizard and the train passes through nearby which I like.
The first rest area when you enter Arizona from Texas on I-10. Very clean and well lit. Spacious pet area as well.
The wind feels very good in this location and has a lot of shaded areas. The restroom are spacious and clean.
Clean rest area with shaded spot for you to take your pets to 'do their business', clean and updated restrooms.
Lynsey Schroeder you got issues! Rating it low cause it don't have a welcome to Arizona sign. Really?
Great rest stop, picnic table, dog area, and trucker area lol, vending machines, amazing night Star View at night.
Very well kept rest area.vending machines, clean restrooms, hella picnicareas, and a nice backdrop to take in.
I got 9 hours of uninterrupted sleep here. The bathroom was reasonably clean. Quite delightful.
Restroom kept clean. No vending machines. Great area to stretch and read up on the nature around. FUN FIND: one of the displays has some typos.:) it was funny to read.
No "Welcome to Arizona" sign! We drove all the way across the country and stopped at every other state to take a picture by the sign, which every other state has at their first rest area. But nope. Not Arizona. How hard is it to put up a sign?
They get one star back for being a nice, clean rest area.
