I took my 2014 Genesis Coupe into this dealer because it was revving very high immediately after starting. After dropping it off the night before, I did not receive a call until near 5 p.m. The next day. The service tech told me that the battery was dead. After I told him that I was not going to purchase a new battery from the dealership, he told me that I would have to retrieve the car and get a new battery before they could work on it. I inquired as to whether they had a battery in the shop they could put into the vehicle to work on it and they said they did not (which is about the most ridiculous thing I've ever heard at an auto shop). When I did pick the vehicle up, they did not have the vehicle running or offer to jump the car (even though they said the battery was dead). I was also told that the revving problem was probably due to the battery, which is (1) ridiculous; and (2) would still be a safety concern even if caused by a battery. The overall service was exceptionally poor. If the service techs are told that they must sell parts (such as batteries) as a condition for warranty service, they should tell the customer the truth. Instead of telling me to get a new battery and bring the car back, I should have received a call which said, "Your battery was dead, but we put in another that we had here and were able to determine what was wrong. " I mean, how hard is that?

I usually deal with Mario Macias (who is great) but he was off when I came in without an appt.on a busy Saturday afternoon when my battery light came on. Brandon helped me with the same excellent service and explained what needed to be done and managed to get me out in a couple of hours, even though I had no appt. I am an uber driver and on Saturday, time is money for me so I really appreciated the kind attention he showed to my situation

We purchased our 2018 Ioniq Limited w/Ultimate package on 7/31/18.
We had an amazing experience working with the team at San Tan Hyundai!
Everyone one was extremely helpful, honest, and treated you like family from our first time in, until we finally drove off on our third visit.
Corey Stryker, Kyle Stark, Rusty Low, and Ken Rothe really made sure we were well informed about the deal we were getting and comfortable with our knowledge of our new ride. We traded in a 2016 Santa Fe Sport 2.0T, and hated to see her go, but we are in Love with the new Ioniq. Getting 58.6 mpgs now is unreal. Thank you guys for treating us so well, and making our new car purchase a delightful experience!

We were warmly greeted by the salesmen and when we asked for Rusty we were immediately met by him. Our transaction was professionally handled by Todd. The car I wanted was in Peoria and were given a loaner to go out for dinner while the car was being transported and prepared for us. Great service from the manager Tom and everything about this lease went smooth. This is my fourth Veloster and as long as you keep make them, I’ll keep buying them.

I would love to give a huge shout out to Jerry in the Mister Ed department and Mike and Coury they were so amazing and took their time to explain everything and make sure I was comfortable with my decision. Coury even found me cheaper car insurance for my brand new 2018 Elantra all three are the best as so is the whole staff.

Beware if you have a vehicle recall.

My 2011 sonata engine blew up because of the faulty engine block procedures out of the Montgomery Alabama Hyundai plant. Car was very well maintained but nothing i could do. They did the engine swap but there was no love put into it. They literally slapped it all together.

The moment i left it was making weird noises so i immediately called them to see if i can come right back before i went too far.

They said to drive it for a few days then call. Found out it was because they wanted to close that work order so Hyundai wouldnt have to handle these things on the same work order.

They used all of the same accessories which isnt a big deal but the drive belt tensioner was visibly loose, another drive belt pulley had a chip the size of a quarter in it.

The AC was completely empty (in July)
(Verified through two other mechanics it wasnt filled up.)
Also, the very next day the driver side window crashed into the door and needed to be replaced.
Spent half of july with no Climate Control.

Before taking it to hyundai i knew i had a bad CV axle and asked Brandon to let me know what the cost was but when i got my car back they said my car was in perfect condition and tried to convince me the CV axle was ok.

Went to another mechanic who upon removing the axle brought it to me but before he even got to me i saw the boot housing torn to shreds.

I had to pay $1600 in work to get this car fixed after that. $1200 is directly contributable to their lack of love in the way they handle cars in their service department.

Its a damn shame. Wife and I have matching Hyundais and have been pretty loyal. Kinda scared about her car now. We are probably going to sell so we dont have to deal with them again.

Dont buy hyundai. Their service department will leave you cold and bitter.
