Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation Center reviews
14Our mother was in the facility for one month for rehabilitation due to a broken hip. The facility was clean and the staff was excellent! Thank you for taking such good care of our mother.
IF YOU OR YOUR LOVED ONE NEEDS REHAB PLEASE DO NOT GO HERE.
My mom is a diabetic and her blood sugar has gone up to 500 twice in the last two weeks that she has been there. Please consider someone else because this is NOT the place to go to, lack of care, professionalism, and responsibility.
I would like to give a shout out to
Arianna Santos in the admissions office. She had to complete my paperwork, including a detailed explanation of benefits. She was knowledgeable, thorough and extremely professional. Santa Rita is lucky to have her as an employee.
Spent a most accommodating 10 days at this facility. RNs and CNAs compassionate and caring, seem to really enjoy their work with the resident/patients. New physical therapy and occupational therapy staff express desire to fast track recovery from problems that referred patients to facility in the first place. I recommend Santa Rita nursing and rehab center!
My wife kathy, recieved excellent nursing care by all the nurses and cna's.her call bell was always answered promptly.her recovery was truly quickened by the quality of care she recieved.her discharge plan went well and continues to run smoothly as she recovers at home.thank you all so much for all you did for her to be able to recover and regain her health.
Could not be happier with the staff! They were amazing in arranging the last minute transfer from the hospital to the nursing facility. This place is wonderful.
They have the neatest bird aviary on their front patio. They also have a garden that they long term care residents tend to. Iliana in activities does a great job in keeping everyone engaged.
Santa Rita Nursing and Rehab has served the Green Valley/ Sahuarita community for many years. What makes it special? The people that work there. The people that have showed up everyday to provide care to those that they serve. The people that often leave their own families to comfort others. I am proud to have been a part of it for 17 years. I have witnessed many recoveries, many celebrations and have seen the compassion and caring Santa Rita has provided to those that they serve.
All nursing homes these days are very evil. I don’t recommend any center for your love ones. My father almost passed away in Santa Rita’s care due to a lack of employees. No one checked on him and he was rushed to the ER for overdose! Nothing else to say except an evil place not humane.
Santa Rita Nursing and Rehabilitation has been a great place to work at. As a team we care for the patients and create a great environment for anyone under our care! We recommend!
We went to go visit my grandfather and we were going to visit him outside and only 4 can see him just because one more person was going to see him they didn't let us in, terrible service.
The rehab side of Santa Rita may be outstanding but the hospice side is terrible. My mother has hours to a day or two before she dies. The kids flew in to spend the last time, the staff refused to allow the 3 kids to be in room with masks on. Long story short, words were exchanged, she knows she dyiny, they know she dying. We were not wondering halls, talking loud, asking for to much nursing help. We came and went. Amy did not like the way I “stormed” out of the room. Did not speak a syllable, Amy kicked a dying woman out of facility, got het to let my dying mom stay but tried to discuss options reasonable, Amy threatening to kick her out again. Amy is horrible person but others were very nice. Won’t take a mummified animal to this place. Who threatens family of dying woman to kick her out. MAJOR brain bleed stroke, won’t be very long, but threatens to kick her out
Most of the nurses were very sweet but the facility itself is not ran well. My parents spent time there recuperating from Covid and my mothers clothes, earrings and insurance cards were lost. When I reached out to Amy Malkin she tried to say that maybe the hospital kept it even though my mother was shown her things when she got there and it was put away for her. Beware of the belongings of your loved ones, they don’t understand that some things have sentimental value! It’s over a month later and they still haven’t followed up with me or found my mothers things.
Do not send ur loved one here. They dont return phone calls and I asked repeatedly to speak to a doctor and never received a call. Never spoke to doctor the month and a half my dad was there. No one every tried to reach out. I had to go as far as asking to speak to the director n even then I didn't get a response. What kind of facility are they running! Terrible! Never again and I will not recommend this place to anyone!
