7Went there for a night sky photo shoot. Captured a pretty good view of comet NEOWISE. Lucky to have a clear sky on NW.
The scenic overlook on the highway between globe in the beeline highway overlooks Roosevelt lake The overlook is situated just about in the middle of the salt Rivers and the Tonto Rivers which form and feed Roosevelt
This is a great Ace for all or one. I will be back. Everytime I go back it seems like there is something new to see.
Mountains are a great place for a motorcycle ride and this was right near the road and easy to see.
You can pull over and take all the pictures you want
Please take a few minutes to stop at this scenic overlook which is just south of the Tonto National Monument entrance. Walk around and read all of the information signs and look to the North because you'll see the Upper Cliff Dwelling. Make sure you have your camera out because you'll want photos of that and you'll have a beautiful view of Roosevelt Lake. This stop is wheelchair friendly.
It's a great view of the lake and the surrounding mountains and Tonto National Monument is up in the cliffs
