Great telemedicine experience. Even during a student shift, the student clinician spent nearly an hour talking with me, discussing and explaining to me the treatment plan. I was able to meet with the physician and it was great to see the student/teacher dynamic. It felt like I was getting two providers for the price of one!

I have been going to SCNM Medical Center since they used to be in Scottsdale, and I have always had a good experience. They were the first to introduce me to natural/eastern medicine. The only reason I am not giving them a 5 star review is because I think they are running their IV Therapy service dangerously. They have students doing the IVs and the last two times I have gone my visit was the first time they had ever done an IV on anyone, nerve wracking to say the least and I will no longer be going there for IVs anymore because of this. IVs can be very dangerous if done incorrectly and they should be done by a nurse who is experienced, so I would think this would be a risk. Shouldn't the students at least have practiced several times on other students or doctors before they are "practicing" for the first time on clients? Seems odd to me.

I have been attending SCNM for over a year now and it is a wonderful place. Please have the right mind set that this is a learning and very nurturing environment for doctors and students. For me, it has become affordable solution for my health since no/most insurance will not cover this or most of this, so working with the students has become my affordable plan. Have patience as they have with the patients! You are working with a team, and with great natural, alternative medicines. So it's a little bit of crowd sourcing for your health, which is great but sometimes takes longer. They also treat my sister who is recovering from cancer. The IV drip room is a very well run operation. I feel lucky to have this medical center in my community and I can incorporate it into my weekly routine.

This school is the wave of the future. Preventative medicine saved my life after a heart attack at 46. My regular physician gave me many unhealthy meds. When I came off the prescribed meds and I started taking herbs a Naturopathic Physician gave me they worked just as well, but without all the side effects. I also learned that all meds are made from herbs and the only way the pharm companies can patent them is by adding chemicals.

Love this place. Dr. Burell and his students have taken great care of my kids. They genuinely care about issues and want to create solutions. Would recommend them to everyone.

I have been there many times and they don't listen and one of their doctors called CPS on a family for not doing exactly what she demanded even though it was bad advice. This is not good naturopathy which should be working with patients.

Calling CPS on a family when their child's fever went down is just about the most evil thing you can do. So no, I can't imagine ever patronizing this office.

Awful excuses for natural health practitioners and defenders of informed consent. Won’t ever go back.

Can't believe you take your child there and they call CPS if you don't do exactly as they say. Beware, find a GP or a physician that you can trust. Not this place

I like this place a lot. Naturopathic doctors at reasonable rates, especially if you do consolations with students, which probably take longer, but help to educate students while you save money. They also offer discounts on supplements when you go there to see a doctor.

Been a patient twice here, very good experience with the physicians and students. Each time they spent an entire hour with me. I've never had that type of attention at another clinic.

I like working with the students. It takes longer but it is a very thorough check up. I get good care and like coming here.
