Dr. Rachel Casuccio is very knowledgeable and professional. She actually takes the time to do a complete and thorough physical exam. All of the staff including the receptionists and vet techs are attentive and great with my dog.

This place is awesome. My puppy Dash loves going there so much. Everyone is so kind and welcoming and make Dash and I feel special. The care there has been fantastic. Several friends recommended this place to me, and I, in turn, recommend it to anyone.

Please DO NOT take your pet here. Vet Alex Casuccio misdiagnosed our family dog as having a dental abscess but he had a tumor. He also charged us a lot for the misdiagnosis and removed our dogs healthy teeth and put him on another round of antibiotics for 2 weeks. We told him repeatedly that our dog just had his teeth cleaned so it's most likely not an abscess, but he didn't bother to be diligent. We believe if we took him to a competent Vet our dog would have been diagnosed correctly early. We then took our dog to the Animal Emergency Hospital when his health was rapidly declining and his facial swelling didn't go away. The Vet's confirmed at the Emergency Clinic that our dog didn't have an dental abscess but rather a tumor. We have medical records from both offices to confirm our story. The 1 Xray Alex C took was also confirmed by another Vet that it was not a Dental Abscess. The Vets at the Emergency Hospital couldn't believe the incompetence of the Vet Alex and they suggested we file a complaint with the AZ Vet Board. Our Dog was in extreme pain and died. However, that's not all we truly believe Scottsdale Animal Heathcare Vet Alex cares more about his pocketbook rather than the animals well being. He also fought tooth and nail to keep the money that he charged for the misdiagnosis. We were very shocked because it was so unethical and unprofessional and we were grieving the loss of our dog. No amount of money will bring our dog back but we want others to learn from our experience and we hope this does not happen another pet and owner.

This is the best vet I have EVER been to! I can’t even begin to describe how amazing Scottsdale Animal Healthcare is. We got our puppy back in June and it has been great getting to know the staff and see how well they treat our cattle dog mix, Booker. Although he gets excited and tinkles sometimes, the staff always welcome him with lots of love, pets and kisses. They have provided us with the best care for our pup while also being conscious that we are on a tight budget. Our dog suffered from allergies and when we were visiting California, a vet tried to charge us nearly $300 for a skin test and analyzing. We are so thankful we waited until we were home and could come to Scottsdale Animal Healthcare, they charged us less than $60! I could not recommend this vet more… best staff, doesnt price gouge you and we always look forward to bringing Booker in.

We love Scottsdale Animal Healthcare! Our puppy had parvovirus, and I cannot express how wonderful the staff was in helping us and making sure that our little guy would make it through - which he did! Our dog loves the staff there, and is excited every time he walks in the building.

Our family has had nothing but caring, loving and efficient care from all of you. You all helped us when we were dealing with Scout's lymphoma. You offered treatments that we used when we decided chemo was not the route we wanted to go. Dr. Rice got us in to see the oncologist when the original wait time was much longer.

When it was time for Scout's spirit to be released, all your staff on duty on his last visit, the day before he passed away, were giving him hugs and love. That meant the world to all of us.

Emails are answered quickly. Rx's filled quickly as well. You give us options for treatments, but never have we felt pressured to do anything. Products that are recommended, are either available in your office, or we are referred to an online company.

Dr. Rice is very gentle and extremely compassionate. The staff have all been friendly and caring. I hope that those looking for Veterinary Care become your patient!

Recently took our dog in for a physical. She had gained significant weight, and Dr. Rice helped us to work on her diet with a stepped plan, and also helped with new medication for her arthritic leg. The staff was marvelous to me and to our dog, and Dr. Rice was the consummate professional in her attitude and demeanor and the professionalism she showed toward our dog and to me personally.

I am so grateful for the love and care my little Nuetrino received at Scottsdale Animal Healthcare. My little Pomeranian ("Neut") was in dire shape with severe neurological issues. We had a misdiagnosis with another Vet, so by the time we finally made it to see Dr Rice and team, the spark was starting to disappear from my boy Neutrino's eyes. Its the kind of panic no pet owner ever wants to feel.

Today, I write this with a happy full heart. My little boy is ALIVE today and showing signs of improvement with the medication.

Dr Rice is very knowlegable, even with our complex outlier case. The staff is wonderful. They appear to care genuinely about each and every pet that walks through their door. Just amazing.

As a sidebar footnote, I have had a slight "phobia" of Vet Clinics since traumatically and unexpectedly losing a very, very special companion pet in 2017 at a high-end "specialist" animal hospital just a few miles away. Dr Rice, the techs and the receptionist, helped to put my mind to ease. So they aren't just good with animals, they are good with people too:)

We have been taking our two dogs to SAHVC for about one year. Our previous Vet retired so we wanted someone closer to home.
Dr Rice and Dr Rachel have been really great they are caring and smart. The staff is very friendly and works hard to accommodate the clients needs. I was in the veterinary supply business for over 30 years and have been in thousands of clinics. This clinic is clean, the staff is very friendly and caring. We are very happy with the level of care and service our pets receive.

We were very impressed! All of the staff were friendly and knowledgeable! They gave us an estimate before performing the services they were suggesting. We were very happy with the service and okay with the costs. We will definitely be making this office our primary veterinarian!

Got right in same day without a prior appointment. Dr. Rice and the entire staff are great. Kind, efficient and great medical care for our Golden Retriever puppy. Always happy that we use this vet office.

Only out for the bucks. Misled us on more than one occasion. Had we not gotten a second opinion, we would have certainly lost our dog. There are much more caring vets available. Extremely disappointed.

We are very happy with Dr Rice and the staff at Scottsdale Animal Healthcare. They are super attentive and responsive and always seem to be able to squeeze us in on relatively short notice. True pros from top to bottom.
