Sea of Green Hydrogardens, Tempe AZ

Was the go to back in the day but now WAY overpriced. Got Char Coir coco for $32.76 (with a "20% discount"). Called grow generation (other local hydro shop) and found out they do it for $23/bag. Looked online and seen it as low as $18. Called them to verify and basically was told it is what it is. Definitely won't be going back or recommending them when their "20% off hook-up" is so vastly overpriced compared to ANYWHERE else Iooked

My favorite local store to visit for great prices on nutes, mediums, containers, mushroom medium starters, and more. I would and have recommended this place to other people I know

Today was the day I have an employee laugh at my brand and tell me my title doesn't exist and the 3 of the laughed I continued to make my purchase and gracefully left.

I think the gentleman's name was Eric but he was just incredibly friendly the entire time. Showed me around the place, explained some of the awesome plants inside, and was genuinely awesome to be around. I will definitely be getting my soil supplies at this hydro store!

This store has an incredible amount of potential, the selection of products is decent, except for a few things. I have come to Sea of Green about 8 or 9 times now, all the way from 35th Ave and Northern, and almost every time if I want help with anything I have to go to the counter where all 5 employees are huddled up together, and instead of being help right away I have to wait till there is a break in the conversation about idk but nothing to do with work and then it seems almost like they see me as rude for needing assistance and interrupting the Convo, riding around the store on a one wheel board, ignoring customers, until my girlfriend walked in that is of course they all greeted her, asked about her day offered help, not impressed with the staff of this store, the store itself is good, but the help needs help.

Always helpful staff fully versed in small garden to large scale hydroponic care. Willing to not sell you something you don't need if they can help you solve your problems with knowledge.
