Utilized them to sell my condo in Phoenix. They violated the signed escrow agreement and withheld a portion of my sale proceeds based on the direction of an outside realty company who had no involvement with the sale. Despite hiring an attorney to explain they were violating the signed escrow agreement, they continued to withhold my funds. After 30 days they finally released the money to me. I've filed an official complaint with the state of Arizona apprising them what Security Title Agency on Germann Road did with my real estate transaction.

Pretty sure the 5 star reviews are realtors. My wife and I were buyers our title agent was not at our closing which took place in this office. Our loan was fairly basic regarding dispersments. The 2017 taxes need to be paid by the SELLER, our car loan had to be paid off by the us (a stipulation by the bank), and our down payment by the us. The first two dispersments mentioned above got so messed up it is hard to believe these guys have done title work before. First, they paid of our car in the name of the seller! The bank that held the note on the car had no idea what was going on and it took us weeks to A.find out there was a problem B.fix the dipsh! T induced problem. Second, the title agency NEVER made sure the previous years taxes were paid! We closed in February 2018 and received a delinquent tax bill for 2017 shorrly there after with a threat by the county that they were going to take our new (to us) home! I placed a call to Security Title right away and the secretary was combative and the VP said we had to pay the taxes. Mind you we did not live in Arizona in 2017 yet we were told we had to pay the taxes on a home we did not own then (eyeroll). The next day my wife and I came in to the office with all of our paperwork and THEY admitted that they screwed up. Another week of us doing all the leg work (like with the car payment) and it was taken care of. If you like paying a title company but would rather do their job for them then go here.

Chris Self is one of the best in his field. He has been a huge asset to my business. He does a great job of helping Realtors market themselves and their properties. He is excellent.
