Security Title Agency reviews
5I have now been waiting for 6 weeks for my earnest money refund. I should have read the other reviews before I decided to use this company. All the paper work was properly signed by Buyer and Seller on June 16th to cancel. Today is Aug 1 and still no refund. I am now trying to figure out next steps.
Disappointing. Maybe there is a big difference between the quality of service between escrow officers but i was disappointed in the one i had. Lack of communication, ignoring my questions, errors in the settlement costs, even claimed on closing day she didnt have my phone number! When i asked about the status of my proceeds, She said that the funds hadnt been wired and would be sent the next day when in fact the funds had been sent. With all the wire fraud scams i would hope escrow co would be extra diligent not uncaring.
I have tried to contact Joe Bartley the manager to follow up on my Earnest return. I send them the denial letter along with other docs. They refuse to return my funds even after appropriate documentation. I would be careful working with this company they won't return your calls or emails.
The best in town. Have used Gail Wefer for over fifteen years and about $20MM worth of transactions, never a problem, always professional, always like family.
Very good experience with Cameron at Security Title. We purchased our building on an SBA Loan. Despite the red tape, slowness, and lack of communication from the Bank Lender, Cameron jumped through hoops to get the deal done.
