Shag Chic Grooming, Tucson AZ

I took my Chihuahua in for a nail trim today. The service is fantastic. My girl wasn't bothered in the least. Her nails have never looked this good. I finally found a good groomer AND it's close to home too!

After being ghosted by another groomer, I was frustrated. I was also concerned that maybe my little guy had been behaving badly, and instead of telling me, his groomer had just 'broken up' with us. Based on other reviews, I called Shag Chic.

Amber greeted us warmly, and I explained my concerns. She promised to fill me in on any behaviors, and was so sympathetic to my timid pup.

When we picked him up after his pampering, he looked & smelled fabulous. His hair trim is the best he's ever had. Amber assured me that he'd been a gentleman. And, to top it all off, the price was very reasonable.

We've definitely found our new 'home' for grooming!

Jackie is amazing! Even when I have tried to shave the dog and messed it up, she is always able to turn it around and make her look adorable!

AMAZING place! I’ve been taking my 7lb terrier mix to this grooming salon for almost 3 years now and I never plan on going anywhere else! All my appointments have been pleasant and I’ve always left loving grooming results of my pooch! I confidently recommend them to anyone I know! I can say both lady groomers truly care for their canine customers and handle them with utmost care. Scheduling process is always easy with just a phone call or text! I love the talented groomers at this salon definitely check this salon out if you want a wonderful grooming service for your pet!

Right from the beginning the ladies at Shag Chic (Amber and Jackie) have been so great with my bordoodle. They are always so committed to getting the groom done and are so accommodating to any requests I might have for my dog. They are so sweet and never judge me for the condition that my dog is in lol. I appreciate these ladies so much!

I used to bring my dog here for years. It was the first place of Many she felt comfortable in compared to other places. Unfortunately she passed away recently how ever I started bringing my other dog who I had for a while as well. They did such a great job painting their nails and groomin them. 10 out of 10 recommended. Super sweet staff. Truly want the best for your pets

Old Lady make my girls dog all submissive and scared after getting groomed two three days the dog would cower and walk slow no excitement or playfulness so idk. Plus the cut to short on her neck it was way to close must have hurt three dog a little bit

Outstanding groomer. We used to go to the the same exact bldg until previous groomer closed their business and Shaq Chic took their place. We now will continue using Shaq for all our grooming. Charlotte (our poodle) says thank you!

My pet Sami is old and has a medical condition, the staff took her time, she was considerate, made sure that my pet was safe and comfortable the whole time.

Jackie has groomed my pups for over a year and is fantastic! I recently introduced a new pup to my crew and Jackie has been so patient with her in getting her used to regular grooming. I have three shih tzu’s and they always come home looking and smelling great!

Absolutely awful experience which I wasn't expecting given the great reviews I read.

Jackie does a great job of working with my runty yet still beasty English mastiff to give him a bath and trim his nails.

If I could give 10 stars I would. Jacqui went above and beyond for my fur baby. He is 11 months old and had never been groomed before. I was so nervous and my dog was terrified. Jacqui took the time to calm him and me. When I picked him up he was so handsome. She did a wonderful job. Thank you so very much.

I know that when Summer was brought in she had a matted neck and back and I'm thankful that you managed to remove the matted hair from her. However, it's not acceptable that she comes home traumatized. She has not been herself for a whole week now (her grooming was last Sunday). She is terrified of any noise and doesn't even want to walk on a leash outside. On both ears she has been cut and has deep wounds (can be seen in the photo) she's razor burned on her back legs and under her tail. Summer has been groomed before and never had any deep cut wounds or came home so traumatized that she's afraid to stay alone or go on walks. Going on walks was her favorite thing until now she's terrified of it. I don't know what happened while she was being groomed, how she was handled, or if there were any issues, but Summer being this way makes it unacceptable with absolutely zero chances that Summer goes back here for a grooming. So sad to see my little girl this way!

My dog is a pistol and this groomer did a fantastic job. I highly recommend her and her prices are good. I will continue to take my dog there and recommend her any time I have the opportunity.
