Gas Station Shell reviews
12Been going here for years because of their great beer selections but for the first time we bought a keg of beer that was clearly bad which happens sometimes anywhere you go. What doesn't happen is the terrible customer service we experienced. My husband bought a keg of beer on a Saturday, after tapped it was clearly bad (ipa that tasted like a sour.have had it many times and it was clearly bad) he went back 2 hours later thinking we could easy trade it for another of the same or something comparable in price but they treated him like he was trying to steal from them. He suggested they taste it if they didn't believe him but to no avail. Long story short after making excuses about having to wait for the distributor to decide we had to wait until monday then on monday got more excuses then finally on Friday we were allowed to get a comparable keg. This should have been an easy trade but because of their poor customer service it was a huge hassle and they didn't seem to care. We try to support local businesses but unfortunately they have now lost a customer for life.
Don't come here. This place is stuck in the 80s and don't accept credit cards. Their old, crummy card readers couldn't read the chip on either one of my debit cards. The employees were unhelpful. Do yourself a favor and go across the street to QuikTrip. Gas and drinks are cheaper, they accept all forms of payment, and the employees are much friendly.
Don’t waste your money here on beer and liquor. A common whiskey that runs around 25-30 bucks, they had priced at $42. After looking at a few other brands I noticed that this seems to be the trend.
I used number 12 and I filled my tank with the unleaded, but it charged me for premium. The cashier refused to do anything about it. I drive a 10 gallon Kia Soul, I shouldn’t have to pay $40 for gas. First world problems, but I am annoyed.
Great people, spirits wine beer cigars and more. They have 20 beer taps for growlers, the wisest selection of beer I have see, an 8x12 humidor, propane and wood. Even have Japanese gin if you are so enclined.
Only thing I have never gotten at this gas station is gas.
This gas station is very convenient for us, and the selection of beer, wine, and spirits is pretty astounding. It's probably the best place to stock up for miles around, if you want to find unusual spirits and can't find them elsewhere. Friendly service and an easy self carwash too.
They have a older tall guy in the morning working at the cashier. He has no clue about lottery tickets, I order the pick he punched the pick 3, I order fantasy 5 separate tickets he can't do separate tickets. I spent 15 bucks dealing with this guy. It happened 3 times.
It's quick and shine. Beer selection is awesome and the owner will try and get you what you want. Prices are a bit higher but you can't beat the selection at a gas station/car wash/growler station/liquor store.
If you are trying to use your shell fuel rewards, go somewhere else. The past 3 times I have come here, they can't seem to process it correctly and always say "it's not my fault". Obviously they don't care about customer service and just shrug their shoulders. And like someone else said in a previous review, they don't really seem to care about the community, just how much they can line their own pockets.
This place is great. Over 30 beers on tap, wine and cigars. Plus a great liquor selection and get some propane while you are at it. My only negative would be that it takes some time to get your growlers filled because they are always busy.
Family owned great costumer service great slection of cigars great prices also cheap car wash and beer wine and hard alcohol they have a huge assortment
While not easy to access, this station has a lot going for it: great selection of snacks, liquor and even cigars in the shop and what has to be one of the best car wash facilities around. You get your car sprayed by a person before going into the wash, the wash pulls your car through itself and they provide free vacuums. This doesn't even include the crazy light show that goes on during your wash.all around effective and entertaining.
