2My 13 year old sister had called 911 because her father is extremely bi polar, and threatened to “drive to the lake and shoot himself”. Once the officers responded to the scene and spoke to my younger sister, they told her that it is not an emergency and there is nothing the police can do. There has been multiple other violent incidents where the police have been called out and they did absolutely nothing about the situation. This is a horrible police department. I am horrified that they are responsible to protect the city of ShowLow.
Sat it the lobby yelling for 5 minutes because some road rager tried to run me off the road then followed me all the way to the station. Whoever was in the back was too occupied with their phone call to even bother helping me. This place is a disgrace to the badge. By the time I calmed down enough to go back outside the psycho was gone thankfully, no thanks to the fabulous show low pd.
