SimonMed Imaging - Paradise Valley reviews
21I had a horrible experience with this facility, the one located at 5620 West Thunderbird in Glendale. On February 24th I scheduled an appointment for a brain MRI on March 11th and on March 10th I went physically myself to that facility, one day ahead, and I spoke with Adriana, R to fill out all my check-in paper work for my MRI and then the next day on March 11th I showed up early exactly 45 mins before my appointment to make sure that I get checked in on time. I gave Adriana, R my insurance and my ID because she asked me to and she instructed me to have a seat and she will call me up shortly. Precisely 2 hours and 15 mins later (now 3pm) I walk up to Adriana, R and asked why am I still waiting so long and she then said I’m waiting for your order I have not received it yet, I responded to her explaining that my order was sent to you guys 2 weeks ago by my doctor and I asked her why have you not notified me that my order was not in in these past 2 hours that I have been waiting here minus the fact I was here one day ahead of my appointment and she never told me my order was not in. And after I have said all of this to her she gave me her card with her name and supposed direct phone number on it but it was actually the number of the facility! And I watched her the whole 2 hours and 15 mins of me waiting she directed every phone call to voicemail while she was playing on her cell phone. When she gave me her card she sent me home and told me I cannot have my brain MRI done on this day. I had to go home and call my doctor to find out about my order and my doctor verified that yes my order was sent 2 weeks prior to my appointment. Right after I spoke with my doctor I called back this facility to reschedule another MRI and I spoke with Samantha and she also verified and confirmed that my original order was in the system and that Adriana did not even check for it! I just want to point out that this receptionist Adriana, did not act in a professional manor, was not courteous enough to check or research for me anything about my order after I had already been waiting over 2 hours, and the previous day she told me to come in 15 minutes before my appointment that she saw on the schedule but now tells me no order was in! Shame on her and shame on this facility for their carelessness with peoples healthcare, especially emergency MRIs needed for current facial paralysis! I was very uncomfortable and could not see correctly and in pain with my current condition. Her rudeness and dismissal of the situation demonstrates just how unprofessional she was and it’s unbelievable this person is working in this sector of the healthcare industry! I’m deeply disappointed and inconvenienced by this situation!
The mammo tech was rude and unprofessional. I can't begin to tell you how I felt after leaving there. I would not recommend this place to get a mammogram done at all.
I can't believe they allow a tech like that to work there.
Their prices were so affordable a brain MRI only 300.00 self pay.caz no insurance. At that $ I was able to get tests thank you Simon med img
Insurance price 1200. _1500.00
I was very early but able to check in with no trouble. The staff was polite and professional. My only bad comment was the flavor of the barium contrast. I had to fight to keep it down.vanilla is not everyone's favorite and I know it comes in a berry flavor.if you have both, ask the patient their preference.
Amanda at the Paradise Valley location was fabulous. She went above and beyond what I expected to help get my MRI order clarified so that I could have my study completed. Great customer service!
Very well organized, efficient with a personable imaging professional who gave excellent instructions and answered questions.
Got in ahead of my scheduled appointment. The staff was first class in making sure I was comfortable. They offered me an affordable payment play for my co-pay. Excellent all the way around!
My CT tech Lauren was warm & welcoming & spared no kindness & consideration. The exam was quick & efficient & Lauren did everything possible to ensure my comfort & safety!
The front office person who checked me in, I’m so sorry I have forgotten her name, was cheerful & very helpful as well. I look forward to using this facility again.
Thank you Simon, for a well-run facility.
Quick check in. Called back for my procedure right in time. The ultrasound tech was polite and efficient. Glad I went to this location.
These employees and technicians are absolutely the best. From the first "hello", to the efforts of the techs to make one comfortable, to the last "good-bye", these young men and women truly go Above and Beyond!
Your front office staff are completely horrible and rude. When I checked in they told me an amount I needed to pay. I explained to them that I’d met my max out of pocket and would they please verify with my insurance. I got a hard stare and was told sure but it’s going to take long while. I thanked them and sat down. About 8 minutes later they called me up and said they spoke to their billing department and I owe a $50 copay. I tried explaining again that’s not correct I don’t owe anything. The front desk person was really rude and just kept insisting I pay. I asked if I could call my insurance which she replied sure. While I was on hold trying to get through to my insurance the imaging technician asked if I was ready which I told her yes but The front desk wouldn’t let me and I was on with my insurance. She hassled me and said well if you can’t get it resolved shortly I’d have to reschedule as they had a full schedule. I arrived 40 minutes early for my appointment and it wasn’t even my scheduled time to go in yet. I finally got through to my insurance who were quickly able to inform the front office that I don’t owe anything. Your office clerk hung up with my insurance and just said ok. No apology nothing. I will NEVER go to the 42nd street and Bell location and I will tell everyone my experience.
Very professional Crew! From front desk to nurses and Imaging technician! I was scare and anxious, but the crew helped me out to go an finished my MRI procedure.
Awesome service. Receptionist was very helpful, even though I was cranky from my pain level. The MRI tech was very courteous and answered all of my questions.
The receptionists working at 3pm on Thursday, Nov 1 were the worst front office staff I have ever encountered. First, Simon Med cancelled my appointment the same day and called me only a few hours before. I didn’t get the message and showed up and no one at the front apologized to me or tried to find another radiologist to do my exam. I’m extremely busy medical professional myself and they had zero empathy to how hard this was for me. No apology and they were texting on their phone instead of finding a solution for me. I called my GYN office and they complained to Simon Med who then miraculously found someone to do my exam. The mammogram and ultrasound techs were kind but the front office staff either need major training on customer service skills or be replaced. I have worked in the medical field for 13 years. That is NOT how you treat a patient.
My first time here, receptionist was super nice, calm and friendly. Facility was uncomfortably freezing cold and made getting a mammogram even more uncomfortable. Besides that, I was seen quickly and in and out pretty fast.
The staff was nice especially Kelly, who did my scans. She was so friendly and easy going that it made the entire experience go quickly and as comfortable as possible.
I was at SimonMed for a MRI. It was overall a pleasant experience. Staff was very nice and accommodating. Facilities are nice and easy to find.
My only complaint is the wait. I signed in at 1030 am as requested for a 1045 am appt. Finally at 1130 am I went to the desk to see if they had somehow forgotten about me. They were just then getting to me because they had “double booked”. Really? Why would you do that? It still took another 10-15 min before the actual MRI started and another 20+ min before it was complete. So my total time there was just shy of 2 hours.
I have to take time off work for these appointments and I don’t appreciate being made to wait so long because if I had been that late I would’ve been charged for a no show and been made to reschedule.
My first experience was not the best. I made an appointment about 6 weeks ago and when I showed up for my appointment, due to the recent acquisition my appt was not transferred to the new system. I had already taken time off of work for this appt so they were able to send me to a different location to complete appt.
Was also very disappointed that 7 am appts are no longer offered. This makes it incredibly difficult for working professionals.
If early am appts will not be available going forward, I will be working with my physician to find an alternate provider who can accommodate working professionals.
Kelly was super calm and patient and sweet and helpful. Front desk people very friendly and warm as well didn't have to wait long.
Due to recent back surgery the equipment for x-rays namely my left knee was inadequate to accommodate my inability to get in certain positions. The equipment that they had seemed to be dated. Consequently they were only able to provide half the x-rays that my doctor had requested.
