Six Points Hardware & Cabinets reviews
16Literally, my favorite hardware store ever, the people in here are so friendly and helpful and will even carry stuff to your car for you without asking. Joe has helped me figure out what I need for my house more times than I can count.
Tried parking here for the Fair as the owner rented out his parking lot for nearby parking. Unfortunately when you rent out your services it’s a reflection of your company. The women started getting hostile with us in front of our young children because we wanted to make sure we weren’t handing cash money ($20) to just anyone. My wife stated she was going to check with the worker inside and she got confrontational and stated she works for the owner. We ended up not paying for their parking and went straight into Fair parking which was only $12 and they take Credit Card.
Ace is always a great place to get anything you need for home repairs and more. Luckily I have one down the street from me. Recently I had to get some paint and other necessities. Jesse G, a rep at the store was amazing help. Answered all of my questions and got me the right tools to get the job done. He made everything so easy and made me feel comfortable with his customer service. I’ll always send family and friends to him for their home repair needs. His Spanish was muy excelente!
Always greeting with a smile and good customer service store super clean and they are always working hard to keep everything in-stock
Best Hardware store to find help. If you need to ask a question or your looking for tools, Hardware or Paint, the people there have the knowledge and a great attitude.
5% premium quality material at 100% premium cost, it seems like the motto is "let's sell the best and hope the customer is ok with mediocre" I would not recommend them point blank!
I had a bolt that was stripped fresh out of the box for a mini bike. I thought I was going to have to send it back but these guys had everything I needed saving me time money and gas. The staff were very helpful and friendly some of the best customer service I've had.
HIGH PRICED BUT GREAT FRIENDLY SERVICE. I mean I only go here if I absolutely have to but every time is a great time. Customer service is great just wish it had competitive pricing but hey it is an ace lol
Don’t go with a tight wallet:)
Six points cabinets/hardware.
Promises made and promises kept. Well, not so much the kept part!
Promises made:
Six Points is to work with you to design your dream kitchen. Order and receive the cabinetry then confirm that the order is undamaged and correct before delivery to the customer. Supply you with a detailed drawing. Sent your info out to several installers that will be contacting you eager to provide their services and all you have to do is just pick the bid/one you like best.
Promises kept
Left blank intentionally!
What actually happen:
We asked for a spice rack and on the other side of the kitchen a Lazy Susan. David Kalmick of Six Points decided since we wanted the Lazy Susan, we no longer needed the spice rack, so he didn't order it. We asked for a cabinet to face backwards designed to utilized what would be dead space located under a 10" countertop overhang, a cabinet with what would be a useless drawer was delivered. As far as the eager installers none of which contacted us, so I got a hold of David he gave me the names of only two installers one was booked for the next two months and the other one, I'm still waiting for his bid. We had to find our own. Regarding the wrong cabinet, it wasn't discovered until after my old kitchen was tore out, so we had to put the countertop installation on hold and wait until David re-ordered the correct one. Living without a working kitchen for over a month is really inconvenient! The drawing he supplied was so poorly written/incomplete the installer I hire could not make sense of it, so mistakes were made. What David did order that we did not want or need were three planks of 3" crown molding that would never fit our project two complete refrigerator enclosures, we only have one refrigerator and also way to much kick paneling. He said don't worry you didn't pay for the extra items but he didn't supply us with and is ignoring my repeated request for an itemized part list.
Originally I asked David to keep it in the same footprint of the old cabinets not wanting to cut floor tile in order to keep down expense, he agreed. We didn't find out until the cabinets were installed that was impossible unless you are okay with draws hitting things. David would say "your installer should know that" he's was just trying to follow your drawing. The cabinetries he sold us are okay if you like a lot of particle board and plywood for premium prices with a horrible fit and finish.
Update:
I asked David to pick up the extra/wrong material and leave a check for their value and maybe something for our inconvenience and added expense due to his mistakes. David said he would pick up the extra parts but no check and he still has not provided a itemized part list.
Business will make mistakes but owning up to them is what separates good ones from the bad. David claims that the cabinet manufacturer were the ones that made the mistakes! I didn't order from the manufacturer I ordered from Six Points and Six Points was the ones that were to confirm that were correct and they are the ones that did delivered the order to my home.
I love the staff here all are good people and I love i can buy pipe by the foot, not having to buy a full stick when I only need 5 feet, what a bonus! Never had a bad experience here even with returns they will take care of you here
Hi everyone. For me it is still morning today Monday January 31st
This is the second Ace hardware store stop today to get color match paint. The first thing I have to deal with is an upset employee (grandma). I'm not sure what was her deal, she seemed like she started her morning to a bad start. She was completely rude. I just said hi I need a color match paint, she responded with a rude tone did you call it in. I said No. Im just driving by to get color match 1 gallon. I handed her my phone with the color match sticker photo she texted my phone gets the information needed and tosses my phone on counter. I asked her if there was something wrong why is she have to toss my phone she never even responded she totally ignored me the full-time length till I got my paint. I'm not sure what's going on with her but she really needs to get her out together and actually you give customer service. And she doesn't like her job she may have to consider a different position.
The employees very helpful, they know hardwaré for sure the place is clean well stocked, they always have what I need
Good people, they now what they have on the shelves. You walk in and they will talk care of you right away.
Started a conversation with an employee Priscilla, to get some cabinets. All was going well. We go into detail regarding the parts and dimensions. The vendor, the sizes, and accessories were decided on. I got a quote for the three cabinets 490.00. I asked a few questions and she was going to look into it for me. I email two more times. Nothing. No bounce-back just, no reply. I decide to call. I get Andrea, I had to re-explain the entire project, I send the email conversation to her. She looks it over and confirms that the project can be done. Apparently Priscilla left the company, no one closed her account. Andrea says she will send me the invoice for the quote by the end of the day or the next. After not hearing from her. I call again. I ask where the invoice is for me to order the cabinets. No apology for not communicating or not sending me the invoice. Andrea say's she's unable to honor the quote that was given. She had no idea where the last person got the numbers. The first quote was 490.00 the quote that Andrea gave was 1550.00. The email communication was quite clear and both parties were in agreement. I express if that was the case I would not like to move forward with the project, and that I was very disappointed of the lack of communication and delaying my project. I feel they did a bait and switch. Now I"m in a crunch to get a project completed.

Huge shoutout to Mitchell! Asked if I needed help, sure enough did. He understood from a picture I had what I needed to install a faucet in my (older) RV. Very understanding and patient and wouldn't you know, I have a new faucet with no leaks! Didn't catch the cashiers name, but she was also friendly. Thanks guys!
