Skewers Mediterranean Grill, Glendale AZ

Stopped in for lunch. Ordered the vegetarian combo and lentil soup. The soup was delicious! Super fresh and piping hot! Falafel was prepared perfectly, not at all greasy with great flavor! Dolmas had a great pickling with a subtle sweetness I wasn't expecting. Baba ganoush super smoky. Yum, 10/10 recommend! Clean establishment, fair prices, exceptional service! Out of my way, will continue to visit as it is worth the trip.

Absolutely in love with this place! All the sauces are made in house and taste delicious! Their pistachio baklava is so good too! 10/10 recommend and will be back!

This is my favorite Mediterranean food in the state. So good beautiful inside and staff is amazing. Came here on a whim and was blown away by how fresh everything was. The Hot bread and hummus appetizer was top notch. I highly recommend anyone give it a try. Steven is the best! Great lunch and dinner.

(Ps the baklava is loaded with pistachio, not overly sweet, and has amazing texture. They do it right here)

First came here when they opened and they were amazing. Had the best extra crispy fries in town. Went tonight after about a year from not having them, order was way wrong. Asked for a chicken pita plain and well done, came with everything and not well done. The fries were not the same as when they first opened and they were very undercooked. Had to throw them in the air fryer at home but that couldn’t save them. No salt and flavorless. Shame really as their fries were the best thing they had when they first opened. We will not be back.

Best 20 bucks you can spend in the Phoenix area! Really great food! Taste great! Healthy! All that!

What a find! A real gem. The food was excellent, staff were delightful and very efficient. Wonderful menu. Beef, lamb, chicken, and begetarian options. Hearty portions. Prices were reasonable. Very accessible. Highly recommend.

I'll start out by saying that I have a decent amount of experience in the restaurant industry, in the PNW. And, there.we're known for really great food, from all over the world. Having said that.take this review with a grain, of salt. Not everyone's palate is the same.

This place is family owned, and on the day I was there, run by the son, and the nephew of the owner. They were great with helping me order the best stuff on the menu. And, none of it disappointed.

The stand-outs were as follows.

Chicken/Beef Shwarma. Both were amazing.
The Kabob. Amazing. (Made to order)
The Falafel. Amazing. Crispy outside, and soft inside. Honestly perfect.
Hummus was top notch.
The Tabouli, which I'm not a fan of usually, was really good. Heavy on the acid side of things, and packed with fresh herb, it was really good. I liked the more sour take on the Tabouli.

So, overall this little hole in the wall restaurant, delivers a lot of value for the dollar. They were helpful, knowledgeable, and accurate with their recommendations.

Looking forward to my next trip to AZ. Gonna stop in, for sure. I highly recommend you support this, family owned, small business.

Excellent kabobs and pita/wraps! Beef Kabob wrap was cooked to perfection, tastes like it was cooked over charcoal and veggies were fresh and crisp. One of my favorite places!

Ordered a wrap and for 13 bucks it was laughable. Second time we’ve tried this place and both were very disappointing.

First time here, try the combination plate with chicken and beef.
Meat for both chicken and beef are cooked just right. They gave an abundance of rice and a big salad.
I’ll definitely be back

Second time: Got the Gyros sandwich n salad.
The gyros meat was over cooked n crunchy… the meat must’ve been spinning around on the cooker for awhile… ate half threw the rest away…
I was too tired to complain about it, and just left.

Third time:
I’m still not liking the Gyros meat, still kinda dry. Maybe I like it undercooked or something I don’t know.
I wanna like this place I really do.
I’ve been trying to find a good Mediterranean restaurant.
I find their Greek salads they serve with the combos very bland in flavor. It misses the mark when it comes to the unique vinegar punch, that Greek salads are well known for.

They offer no Gyros pita sandwich in a combo with salad. Which pretty all other Mediterranean restaurants do.
To add a side salad will cost you $4.99
Costing your than the Gyros plate.

The food here is amazing, and the staff and owners are all so friendly and kind. This is the spot if you love Mediterranean

Skewers has the best gyros and schwarma. Service is always very friendly. My favorite Mediterranean spot. I only wish they had brewed iced tea.

This place is absolutely DELICIOUS. Just ordered 2 pita gyros lamb and the portions are perfect the flavors and taste is the best you can find. The hummus is SO GOOD. Tried the garlic and pink sauce are great compliments. The Greek fries with the dressings are delicious. The Service and gentlemen working are informative respectful and even discussed the culture behind the food. Highly recommend if you're looking for amazing Mediterranean food. Will be returning again! Best Mediterranean food we ever had10/10

First time here and the food was AMAZING! The meat (both beef and chicken) were juicy and was very well seasoned. The garlic sauce made in house was delicious. The owner and his staff were attentive and had wonderful recommendations. This will be my new go to spot.

Came here with my tv crew for a show we were filming in the area. Gabriel and the cook were EXCELLENT and friendly. The food was fantastic and Gabriel was attentive and wonderful. Highly recommend this place for great, quality food without too much of a wait. We ordered ahead of our arrival to have the food ready when we arrived - because we didn’t have too much time for our lunch break / again Gabriel was excellent and attentive, all the orders were spot-on correct and they genuinely care about the quality of their product and the happiness of their customers. Will DEFINITELY be back. Thanks guys!

Some food is average. Some like the humus are very good. The restaurant is simple and clean. The staff was very nice and friendly. At the time of this review, the price for most plates is $15.99.

Great food, great service! Just happen to notice this place about a month ago while driving by and decided to stop in. So glad I did! A new favorite!
