Ski Pro, Phoenix AZ

Way overpriced. I ended up returning everything when I realized I could get the same stuff from Zumiez, Amazon, and even brand websites for half the cost.

This location has more in stock than their other locations but there still isn’t much variety. Most of the staff is also pretty rude and/or unknowledgeable which makes shopping here a pain.

Save your money and time, buy your gear somewhere else.

I went in to find a warm pair of pants to fit over leggings to stay warm. We asked for assistance and Phoenix helped me find pants in styles I liked to try on. She also brought me additional sizes to try when the original sizes were too large or small. She was always patient and never made me feel rushed. I finally found a pair that would work. They have a large amount of inventory, the store was organized and clean (although someone had left a few items in the fitting room rather than placing on the rack). The clothing is expensive, so be prepared to pay quite a bit. But my 5-star rating is on the presentation in the store and the service I received.

My mistake: not insisting they put their most experienced ski tech on the job of tuning my skis.

Their mistake: letting a rookie tech use a p-tex candle where there should have been base welds.

A competent ski tech can make bases look brand new with a stone grinder and base welder. These were far, far from that.

I was offered a chance to leave them to be fixed, but would you go to the same doctor that botched your surgery in the first place?

If I was the guy on the other side of the counter, I would have offered to comp the work. It would have prevented this review from being written.

Great selection! Helpful and friendly people. Don't expect "great" prices, but they have high quality products and you get what you pay for. Couldn't ask for anything else.

The staff are very knowledgeable. We were recommended great gear and had boot liners heat molded. Will come again!

What ever you need. Steve an Todd are ur go to guys they have the knowledge to get you on the right board at a great price

Loved this place and will definitely go back once I'm in Arizona again. Payson was super cool and helpful and helped me pick out my first snowboard boots. 100% recommend this shop to everyone

Bought skis at the Desert Ridge store in the fall. Wrecked a pair and that facility didn't have the ability to repair so came to this location. Timely repair done for us to make a ski trip. We have had great experiences at both Ski Pro locations now!

Helpful and friendly staff. Fast service. Items rented needs cleaning. Fast checkout. A lot of parking space. Too many to choose from. Rent amount for $30 is really good. Will rent again.

I bought a twinpig and needed it rushed for the weekend. I called and got connected to an absolute legend named Tyler and asked if I could upgrade my shipping so I could get it next day and he made sure he could have the board in hand before letting me know for sure. He got back to me in minutes and assured me it would be no problem and I got my board next day just in time for my trip! Thanks again Tyler you really went above and beyond and I appreciate that!

This place is pure garbage. The rental dept could be better ran by 7 year olds. Wasted an hour waiting in line, getting fitted, only to be told they don’t have any rentals available (even tho I asked inventory status b4 going thru all of this) Rude, disorganized, & the equipment itself is in terrible condition. Avoid.

With the expert advice of the boot fitter, Gil, I was able to get another season (at least) out of my boots. There was no pressure to buy anything out of my league or unnecessary. My boots fit super comfortable now and the skis he guided me to are my favorite skies I’ve ever owned.

Just shopped here (Desert Ridge) for the last time. If I have to sit on my phone and figure things out myself what's the point? If I have tonwalk all over looking for things what's the point? I can do that on Amazon and probably save some time and a few bucks. I couldn't put a group of young people less interested in customer service together if I tried. And I saved the best for last. Make sure you check your receipt before you leave. A few months ago I bought some wakeboard gear (yep had to ask questions on my phone then too) and realized I was over charged. Today same problem, I was walking out and looked at the receipt.yep over charged. I try to support local but I'm done here.

Rental service was extremely slow and there were only two customers. Worker was also extremely rude and was trying to make me pay for a two day rental when I was only going for a day but because the only time I could pick it up was the morning he wanted to charge me $50 instead of $30.

You can definitely get all and every ski related thing you need here good place to go have some pretty good deals long line though.

Went to two other shops to see if they could fix my snowboard binding with no help whatsoever. I went to ski pro and Matt at the snowboard counter saved the day and fixed my binding. THANK YOU MATT, YOU ARE AWESOME!
