Hamburger Restaurant Slackers reviews
15Burgers were good. The soda machine died, and the place was very muggy and hot. Needed an AC replacement
This place is really cool. An original and authentic eatery that only Page can have. Nice vibe!
We visited the Antelope Canyon and after a long hike, we decided to stop and look for something to eat. This place was so good, the sweet potato fries are a must and the burgers are delicious.
Loved it! Can't go wrong eating here. Really good burgers!
Good food for the entire family, not expensive, quick and friendly service. Definitely recommend!
We got the Navajo taco meals. They were very fresh and delicious. The service is prompt and friendly.
! Twice we ate there!
Very good food, especially the buffalo burger.
A good place to have a snack and if you're lucky, as happened to me, watching your team play on TV being so far from home.
We will be back for sure!
Greetings from Spain!
My Navajo taco was delicious, but our meals came after our friends had nearly finished theirs (and we ordered before them).
Great burger place in Page AZ, delicious nourishment after a day of hiking. I got the blackened burger with blue cheese, while my partner got the Navajo taco. The burger was better in my opinion.
The best burger I've eaten in the USA with top-notch homemade fries. And all this for excellent value for money.
We did a 3-day backpacking trip in the Grand Canyon and after the climb up from the bottom, we were craving a burger. There were of course options near the Canyon, but we also saw Slackers pop up on Google. We decided to make the 2.5-hour trip for God and glory and were not disappointed. Portions were great for the price, and the vibe was friendly and relaxed. Ate every morsel. Also learned from the owner (?) /chef that his mom makes the Navajo fry bread for one of the burgers on the menu. Unfortunately, that particular burger was totally sold out when we got there, but I'm sure it's stellar also and apparently very popular.
If you are passing through Page, AZ or staying by Lake Powell, you have to stop by this local restaurant!
First of all, we loved the mozzarella sticks. I ordered them thinking my wife and I would be the only ones to eat them, but our young kids attacked them as well. Would have been nice if there had been more of them for the price, though.
My wife got the classic burger, which she said was really good, and onion rings. I got the Navajo taco with fresh jalapeños added (and was impressed that they offered fresh and pickled options). It was very flavorful and the fry bread has great flavor and texture. Plenty of chili and veggies on top. The only negative was that they only gave a tiny cup of salsa that barely covered a small portion of the taco.
The chicken tenders are also excellent. I finished off the last one that my kids didn’t eat and the flavor was so good and the breaking perfectly crispy that it didn’t even need to be dipped in any sauce/condiment. Also, don’t miss out on the fries either; both taste and texture are excellent.
My wife ordered a side salad, with only lettuce and carrots - NO TOMATO. Four times they sent salads WITH TOMATO.finally, after the fourth go-around, she finally demanded a refund, which she received. My food (chicken fingers and fries) was lackluster; the fries were ok but the chicken was flavorless. And the employees were decidedly unfriendly and devoid of any hint of personality. Furthermore, with the ridiculously high prices for their food, I would not recommend them. There are a lot of alternative places to eat nearby that serve better food.
Good home made hamburgers, very juicy. The service was excellent, with the counter person helping me out with the time zone concerns of the Navajo Nation (so we won't miss our Slot Canyon tour).
I mean it’s a fine place. Very friendly owner/servers. Food was tasty though nothing to write home about. We got wings, cheese burger combo, side salad.
Burger patty felt like only slightly thicker than a McDonalds burger. The plaza it’s located in feels a bit run down (or maybe it was just the vibe on the day we went…). Guess just the decor needs some update. Overall I felt the food scene in Page in general could use some major upgrade given how many tourists they welcome each year.
