Smart & Final, Phoenix AZ

I am use to a large Mennonite store from the East coast. There you can get many many things in bulk. To help the needs of the homeless here in Phoenix, one needs items in bulk. The prices on some items are good and others are not but you be the judge according to your needs.
The store is clean and orderly. It's easy to find things. It is wheelchair accessible even inside the store you can navigate with ease. They do not have a motorized cart to sit and shop for those with physical disabilities. They do have a public restroom at the back of the store. It is easy to see the store sign when passing on traffic. The parking lot is easy to navigate. They sell all that you'd normally find in a grocery store plus catering items.

Staff is always the friendliest and helpful. Shelves have always been full. Prices are less than supermarkets and of course, Smart & Final carries items that Costco does not as well as smaller quantities!

I have always received good service when sought. Yesterday, I asked a young lady to help me with a case of water and she was most willing.

Smart & final is the move! Courteous staff. Easy shopping & requires masks which is fab! The manager does a great job himself. He's always busy busy busy stocking, cashering, getting carts etc! Give him a raise!

Fast, efficient, well organized. Usually only go for a super sale price on an item we use a lot of.

Needs a costumer service booth. Asked for quarters and was declined. (Several times) other than that. It's clean, friendly and accessable.

My first time there and I ask a young man and he stop doing his work to go and help me show where everything was is clean and not to expensive o go again and recomend the place to any body

I went in for avocados. They were 1
1.29 each. Very ripe and ready to use yesterday. The associate was friendly. I got some closeout brushes beans for 89 cents for a large can
So it was ok. ️

Depending on one's needs, Smart &Final proves to be a balance between a Costco and a Safeway

My experience is always good at Smart & Final, but today the lights went out so we had to shop quick and get out, as usual they were very professional and asked us to come to the front register to check out. 06/01/2020

This place continues to instill fear & uncomfortable breathing by forcing customers to wear a masks at their locations.

Great place to buy most items in bulk, but my recent experience was bad. I purchased a meat (rib slab), but when I repackaged it, it was very old, and pungent. I don't think that all maybe that way, but I felt it was a bit much to attempt to sell. I'm hoping no one else has this experience.

We love it here. Great fresh offerings, great and reasonably priced wine selections. Recommend trying the frozen honey and walnut shrimp dish. Delicious!

I like this store it is medium sized and compact with a little bit of everything you need to run a business that caters to food service. You can find everything from baking supplies to napkins and pickles. They also have a big selection of cleaning supplies and alcoholic libations. It is a great spot for everyday folk who need large size and economy size products for their home and the best part is you do not need a membership to shop or just look around. The prices are reasonable for the quantity on most things and the staff is usually busy bit very helpful.

Smart and final is a small, warehouse like store. So they have a lot more just niche items, but I was looking for a ton of tota I flavorings in order to make Italian sodas, and smart and final has tons and tons of them, an entire 4 rows full of flavors, definitely a great place to stop at for bulk flavorings, they also have a ton of other items like that so if you’re ever needing a lot of inexpensive items, and Walmart or somewhere like it doesn’t have enough, I recommend trying them

I recently came to this location and purchase a couple of items (Whole loaf of a Turkey Breast, Nestles
drumstick ice cream)

First of all the Turkey Breast was Shreaded pieces of Some type of meat, that seem to be Spam. It Looked and taste awful after baking it for 2 hours. (it didn't taste like turkey

After that feascal I open the. 4 pack of nestles drum stick and the waffle cones were discolored they were supposes to be brown in color but it was white and the peanuts that was on the top of the ice cream were stale.
I would not recommend purchasing any thing at this locations.

Good place when you need something quick or in bulk. Prices seem to be competitively priced, but beware that's it's a mini Costco with the size things come in. Usually an easy in and out though which is a major plus.

4 Star rating is for the stores cleanliness. It needs more care. This is a smaller store.
The employees were super nice, and helpful. I love that I know if I need something it will be in stock, and priced well. I buy the 50# Palm Oil to make soap. Price is excellent at $28.
