Sono Kitchen & Boba reviews
17It’s pricy here… Boba tea tastes good! My husband likes the walnut shrimps a lot! I ordered the orange chicken bento box, but I actually liked the see weed salad and the cucumbers in my husband’s bowl better than the orange chicken. Salt and pepper chicken is my favorite!
Aside from not allowing our dog inside, everything was high-end delicious. Got a milk tea and dragon eyes drank w/strawberry popping boba and they were delicioso!
My son and I stopped here today for lunch at his request. He was craving some 'American Chinese food' and boba.and I'm *always* down for some Asian.
The young man at the counter was friendly, knowledgeable and helpful. He explained the difference between the boxes and the bowls to my son, helped him figure out what type of boba drink he wanted, and didn't make us feel rushed at all.
The ambiance is cute! The space is small, but well-used - as well as clean, bright, and cheery with pops of color all around. It's a fast casual style restaurant, which I hadn't realized before we arrived- but they pull it off well.
We ordered the teriyaki chicken bento box, orange chicken bento box, and thai iced tea with boba. The food came out surprisingly quickly, and I was shocked at how good it was! Really, everything was SO delicious, perfectly seasoned, and the macaron was a yummy little cherry on top.
Prices were high IMO, but I'm gathering that about this city in general- so not unexpected or unusual for the area. My son commented on the way out that this was the best boba he's ever had. We would definitely come back!
Make sure to stop by here to try some boba in Sedona. The boba is really good, and their menu has very unique drinks and toppings. Gotta try the food next time, its super aesthetic too. The cat cups are cool and the workers were really nice.
We have been to the flagstaff location and was excited to get the popcorn chicken again. Man was it is a disappointment. The chicken was very dry and lacked flavor consistency. I would make the drive to flagstaff from Sedona just to get the chicken at the other location
Fried chicken smells good
A portion is quite sufficient
The smoothies are also super delicious
Awesome boba tea. Also the mochi in the refrigerated case is so yummy we came back for more on another day.
Had to wait 20 minutes for two takeout. Rice was soggy, and dish was too sweet. It seems their focus is bubble tea and food was afterthoughts.
I ordered a boba tea. The boba was fantastic.
Day took my order and she was so friendly. She was happy to share her favorite things to do in Sedona and overall made for a great experience.
I have been to this place and tried many other drinks, but the Torocado was my favorite! It is a great place to get drinks and food in Sedona.
They only have one size here, and the price is a lot higher than the Sono in Flagstaff (to be expected). They were out of my first choice, but my second choice tasted great. The kitchen was closed (about an hour before closing, I think?), so if you're wanting food, be sure to get there earlier.
Don’t use the bathroom in here, employees apparently aren’t trained to knock before unlocking the door on you. Good boba tho
We had boba, it was alright, nothing special, but the fruit boba was not made with natural ingredients.
My only gripe is the price. But the prickly pear boba was fire and we ordered spicy and non spicy pop corn chicken and a chicken teriyaki bento box with side of rice came out to 60$ with tip closer to 70$. But I'm willing to pay for experiences
These guys were so great. They were so sweet to my dog and the boba was delicious. Definitely recommend 25-50% sugar because it does tend to be a little sweet. Best staff!
Boba is good…. Food definitely not worth the price, I would just stick to boba at this place
Fun, lively atmosphere with good food! We ordered a Teriyaki Chicken Bento Box, an Orange Chicken Bento Box, and 2 Pop & Bo combos (Popcorn Chicken & a Boba Drink of your choice. We chose Tiger Power and Sono Boba Milk Tea for our drink option). All of them were tasty and delicious! However, the Popcorn Chicken was quite spicy.
The staff was kind and welcoming, and the food took a reasonable amount of time to come. Overall, this place is a great spot to get drinks and/or food.
