Sonoran Sky Elementary School, Glendale AZ

This school should be ashamed of themselves and their "policies". My 5 year old son was allowed to leave campus and walked to his babysitters house without anyone knowing where he was or that he was missing until my other children informed the office they could not find their brother. After searching for my child for over 30 minutes they were finally informed of where he was. No call was made to me or to my emergency number at work to inform me that my child was missing. And when speaking to the assistant principal and principal of the school neither one were aware that they even had a student missing. In the world we are living in today where we take so many precautions to keep people out of schools yet this school allows a 5 year old to walk out the office doors and doesn't bat an eye about it. This only makes me feel better about my decision to move my children to a different school where they will be properly monitored.

I don’t even know how this school could have such a good rating? The teachers are physically and verbally abusive. No parent should have their children coming home in tears because their teacher pushed them or yelled at them. If you can’t keep your calm then don’t be a teacher. And shame on the principal for allowing this.

My children love this school.the staff is very helpful and takes the time to listen and understand you.the teachers in the 7th grade this year (2017-18) are amazing, super helpful and Ms. Davis is amazing at communicating with us.my daughter is in kinder she's learning so much and tells me everyday how fun school is. Ms. Gurrola is also awesome at communicating with my husband and I! I'm super happy with this school and staff and hope for the years to come it continues!

My stepson loves his school and teachers he is so proud. In my opinion the faculty through out the school are outstanding and generally care about there students.

The school is not good. They let the children do whatever they want. The teachers can't conduct the kids. I like the 8th grade Ela teacher that's it. Principal doesn't listen to parents. Advice don't go to this school.

I love this school its my last year here and ik im going to miss it so much everyone is so friendly and ik u would love it to. LETS GO COMETS!
