Southern Avenue Villas, Mesa AZ

Do not move here! Management will charge you rent after they throw you out. One of the maintenance men targets little black boys and girls and stalks them to the apartments and breaks items and charges you for the damage even if there's no proof. Not a good for a family.

Very poor experience living at this apartment complex. All they are out for is your money. I was charged with a cleaning fee before I moved into my apartment, after cleaning my entire apartment upon move out they took my deposit and charged me an additional $300 for carpet replacement/repair. They also charged me to replace drip pans on the stove top, when I had cleaned those multiple times throughout my span of living there. I had two things stolen from my front door while living there and instead of being helpful, the management team seemed bothered and annoyed to “assist” me and basically told me that I was out of luck. Overall a horrible experience and I would not recommend renting with Southern Avenue Villas.

Other than cockroaches the experience was great until I was ready to move. The office girl lied about my 30 day notice procedure. Then they considered me a skip on the move out cost because I did not have money up front to pay for two months that I would not be there. Unfortunately I could not pay because I lost my job. 74 years old and they also wanted me to clean ceiling fans. I was also denied a close parking spot because I am partially disabled. Didn't care about either of these two things.
Majestic sure you ask all of these questions before you sugn.

Hands down, the worst rental experience in my 30 years as a landlord (rented an apt.here for my son while in college and deeply regret it)
