This place is so much better the west yavapai guidance clinic by far. South west actually helped me.guidance clinic made it worse!

It’s not easy to admit that one needs help but I did as much as I could do on my own. They helped me get to a better point and I am grateful for the help here.

I felt really comfortable during my appointment with my counselor. I am truly looking forward to learning some tools to best help me with my childhood.

I love my counselor and she has helped me so much to heal and set boundaries.
My psychiatrist has kept me balanced with my meds and out of the hospital.
The front desk ladies are so kind and caring.
The nursing staff are compassionate and really care about me.

I’ve been through the ups and downs with Southwest in Prescott Valley for the past eight years, and some of it, unfortunately, is pretty sad. If it wasn’t for my case manager, Annabelle, I would have been long gone. Thanks to her I’ve worked through being re-traumatized by various “counselors”, I am with the best provider, Rachel, who understands the complexities of CPTSD, BPD, ADD, anxiety, depression, OCD, and how growing up in a toxic, narcissistic, dysfunctional household can be severely disabling and less one to become paranoid and hyper vigilant, even question their own reality. With her help, I have gone from being over medicated to on my way to what I believe is “just right”. I am finally getting some DBT with Patrick, a therapist who actually cares how I’m doing and doesn’t get grossed out by my trauma. Nurse Katy and is phenomenal and went well out of her way to help me with my medications when there are pharmacy shortages. Meagan and Monica are amazing as well. Thank you Annabelle, for helping me to persevere and supporting me when no one else would. I’ve made progress due to your excellent skills. And thank you to my awesome, and excellent clinical team at Southwest in Prescott Valley. I never thought I’d say that about a mental health care provider in Arizona.

I have always had a warm and heart felt presence when I’m at South West Behavioral. They have been taking good care of me for over 3 years now and I have always been accommodated in times of stress or confrontation. I highly recommend the Prescott Valley Location for South West

DO NOT GO HERE! If you're trying to better yourself as a person. Me and my gf both have gone here for over a year we are both self employed and very busy. This place sees you as a $ and has no intention of helping you. Getting approved for privileges is a joke my gf had to email corporate 2x for them to finally approve her privileges mind you she's clean makes all her apts on time never misses a dose, I got approved for privileges 3 half months ago and I still don't have them, it's a far drive and I have to work that around my schedule each day, and each day I come in they say op something happened this week we'll get to it next week and it never happens, also we put in a records request for something very important regarding our financial situation and it takes at most 1 month to process it's now been 2 half months and we still don't have it. The coordinator got in contact with me and apologized and said she would work things out well that also never happened. Do not go here if you have a life and it can't revolve around this place.

Best mental health care. The therapist's are amazing. They always make sure you get all the help you need.

Dealing with these people, gives me more confidence to finally go through with putting a bullet through the roof of my mouth. Good luck.

I’ve been waiting nearly three weeks for these people to enter my “intake packet” into their system so I can be seen. I’m in an extremely bad place, I need help desperately. I’ve called them multiple times explaining that I still haven’t been contacted, each person I spoke to said they’d get back to me THAT DAY after filing my packet, still, no call. When I dropped it off, the receptionist told me it would take them a few days to get me into the system, which is fine. I waited, and after a week I called, after another week I called again, each person telling me “huh, that’s weird, you should be in our system if you dropped it off that long ago, I’m going to settle this for you and call you back. ” Look, I know these guys are busy but this is just unacceptable. As every day passes I get closer and closer to relapsing into old self harm habits, you can not screw off with peoples mental health at hand.

I have had nothing but kindness expressed from all the Staff at Southwest Behavioral services.

When I first walked in to Southwest I was extremely stressed out. To say Kendahl’s customer service was great is an understatement. When I had paperwork that I needed help with she helped me, she went above and beyond. She was caring, compassionate, empathetic, and understanding. You name it, the list goes on. I will always be grateful for the care at Southwest. The therapist’s I met with were also amazing. I’ll never be able to say enough. Would definitely recommend.

Mental health trap house. Let the real professionals do this kind of business. Dont make people wait in your waiting room for a week straight while billing my insurance daily just to see the doctor for 5 minutes and leave no better than when you walked in this dirty, antiquated, slow trip to nowhere. Help.never comes.

This place has been amazing for me. Candy and dr Wagner are amazing. Helped me monumentally and still going and getting better

I couldn’t be more grateful for their help I only have two weeks two get my records in during my disability hearing when my original judge had retired so I had gotten very confused along the way.anyways they had set it up where you can text them directly and the lady whom I spoke with was Aly Hill and if it wasn’t for her effortlessly texting me and easing my panic I wouldn’t have been able to be clear headed enough to breathe and direct myself through the rest of my agenda in between it all. She went above and beyond and got those records for my lawyer within those two weeks by asking them to be expedited and she got it done! Normally this would’ve taken upwards of thirty days! Would’ve given ten stars if I could!

I am a mental health professional who came to SW Behavioral for information about where I might be able to refer a client who lived in a remove location. They replied in a prompt and helpful manner. I was most favorably impressed.

I'm bi polar ran Out of my meds they don't even care It's been over a week since I had my medications I call all I get are messages They don't return my messages My pharmacy keeps trying to call them and gets nothing in return as well what a joke I'm a person that could legally kill someone, they screwed me again on my meds today 9 -19 -19, incompetence is all I have to say

I come here for many different reasons. I came.in here with a bad attitude and the entire staff and other people that I have felt with have changed my attitude completely. I love coming her. I actually look forward to it. Just like any company they have made mistake. But they are quick to fix them. I will continue to come here for any issues I have. Thank you so much

I LOVE everyone here. From the staff to the front desk. Over the past year I've worked with Samantha, Lisa, Katie, Roxanne, Annibell and many others. They have bent over backwards for me. I'm getting awesome care. I can feel their hearts. I think a lot depends on your will to let them help you. Be open, give them a chance.
