There are no words to express the gratitude and the admiration I have for this place. I have done and paid for several consultations before finally find my idol Dr Steurer! His titles are remarkable. My little dog is only 5 Lbs and 9years; she needed to remove a mass and I was terrified to lose her. So I started searching for surgeons who had done small dogs before and not much luck, and the other consultations were good but at the moment Dr Jeffrey Steurer walked the room I told myself that’s it! He was so calm and confident about this that made everything sound way less scary and clear. His knowledge and great passion for his job is literally on his aura. And the staff, every single girl at this place is so caring, sweet, and they loved my little Maia and took care of her overnight and updated me with text messages and photos. There are no words at the same time I can’t say enough words of gratitude, and God bless every single person at this facility. Thank You Thank You Thank You

Our beautiful sweet senior girl Ladybug had developed a lump on her rear leg and it scared us greatly. We took her to see an awesome very caring veterinarian who recommended three surgery facilities. I chose SW Veterinary for location initially as I was familiar with the nearby Emergency Vet facility. But our first appointment with Dr. Sullivan and his staff made me feel very confident that Ladybug would be in the best possible place to get her lump removed. I went with my gut as I always do. I am so glad I did. Their skilled hands removed the lump so well there's no evidence it was ever there. She came home that same day thankfully as she is very needy and absolutely can't stand to be without her people and let everyone know she wanted to go home. We couldn't stand to be without her either. The staff made sure we went home with enough adhesive pads/supplies to replace her pads each day as she healed up. They made sure I knew what to expect and how to contact them during the holiday hours. We can't imagine life without our beautiful rescue Ladybug. I would have done anything to give her the chance to survive this cancerous lump. I'm beyond thankful and grateful for the talented surgeons and super caring staff at SW Veterinary for saving her life. If you love your pets and want to do everything you can to help them to live as long as possible, take them to SW Veterinary Surgical Service.

Had our first consultation last week with Dr. Brad Dixon, our 3 1/2 year-old lab needs TPLO surgery. From our first interaction with reception right through to checking back out and scheduling the surgery, the staff was first-rate and you can tell they’re real animal lovers. Dr. Dixon was very easy to talk to, but also very informative. Definitely feel like we made the right choice and are in good hands.

Staff were amazing! Great service - all loving their jobs and their fluffy patients. So glad my Vet office referred us to them. Charlie is healed and a happy boy! Hugs to all!

The staff are very caring and informative. They walked me through every step of the surgical process. I felt at ease once so walk through the door. They texted me pre op, during and post on. The Dr.called me before the surgery and after the surgery. I would definitely refer this center.

I'm going to start by saying if your animal needs surgery and you don't choose this location in Scottsdale you're making a mistake. Of course this is a personal opinion but actions speak way louder than words and the actions of this staff were absolutely amazing. We are talking real life angels! The staff members and doctors were very catering to the needs of my baby boy Duke as well as myself. Duke is my first dog and this was the first time he's ever had a major surgery. The staff noticed I was visibly struggling with this and literally made me feel so much better. Their communication and care for my dog is by far the best I have ever seen and have lived in several states and been to over 10 different vets throughout these states. I genuinely can not thank each one of them enough and I mean this from the bottom of my heart. I want to recognize Dr. Dixon, Dr. Roberts, Connie, Adamari and Brandi for the most professional care I have ever received. Thank you from Duke and I. Prayers and best wishes for you all!

We love Southwest Veterinary Specialists and they have done surgery on our dogs the latest an amputation. Every single person from the receptionist to the surgeon is not only professional but so nice! They kept us informed through the who procedure, called to let us know how everything was going, and pretty much held my hand the whole way. If anyone needs a specialist I always recommend them.

We were very pleased with the care and professionalism of Southwest Veterinary Surgical Service. Our regular vet referred us to them and we were pleased. They send all the records back to our regular vet and keep them advised of the procedure.

Caring, friendly and efficient staff! Everyone was most helpful and genuinely concerned with my Pet's health. They communicated with me throughout my Dog's operation and recovery. They are the best.

SW Veterinary Surgical is fantastic. Dr. Dixon and staff helped our dog with her first ACL surgery and we trust them to take care of her again.

I just had my 7 year old Rotti in for an CCL injury exam. Dr. Dixon and staff were very friendly and helpful. Roscoe will have surgery soon and I will do another review after. I did a lot of research on this injury and on doctor`s in the valley. I feel I made the best choice for my boy and I have confidence in a good outcome for Roscoe.update, Roscoe has healed nicely from his surgery.he will have his final exam and X-ray in two weeks to confirm healing is complete.at this time, I`m just trying to keep him from over doing it as he thinks he is fine now.

Our black lab Harri did great w the TPLO surgery. They hospital was very communicative and helped us manage her pain. 10 weeks in C and we’re increasing our walks and getting stronger every day.

Dr Dixon and his entire team in Scottsdale were top notch. Dr Dixon spent time talking to us in advance of the surgery informing us of all the details of the surgery and possible outcomes. He also called after the surgery with an update and made himself available for additional questions at anytime. His entire office was caring and responsive. Brandi at the front desk was wonderful working with me on the estimate and with our pet’s insurance company.

Our Pomeranians did great with the surgeries. Each had the patella luxation surgery. Sr. Steurer did both surgeries and we were so happy with him.

Dr. Sullivan is fantastic and genuinely enjoys her work. If my dog Morgan needs to visit her, I'll drive to the office where she works because she serves the entire valley. She is very amazing in every way.

The staff at this facility is amazing! Our little doggo had to have surgery and while that is a stressful process, the team made sure we felt comfortable every step of the way. Our pup had to stay overnight at the facility and we got regular calls to let us know how he was doing. They truly go above and beyond to care for our furbabies

Everything went very well from the time I checked in until l left. The price was in line with other vets for blood work. Now I have to wait to see if what they told me comes true. Over all I was happy.
