Spellman Hardwoods, Flagstaff AZ

So helpful and friendly. Found some great boards at really fair prices. Just be warned that they don't cut or sell parts of boards.

Have been going to Spellmans for 28 years. I have always had excellent service, and have always received excellent product. Don't waste your time going to the big box stores. You won't find what you need unless to go to Spellmans hardwoods.

Don't bother, unfriendly and atrocious customer service. Went in to ask a few questions. Was told to just go walk around. Know what you need before you walk in. Will be buying all my lumber from the home center or elsewhere.

These guys have just about any kind of wood you can imagine. Cheaper than Home Depot and likely more available. I needed some hickory last minute for a project and they had a large selection of 12 foot boards to choose from. Will definitely be returning for more wood.

Both locations have a great selection of hardwood lumber. It isn't Home Depot. It's not dimensional lumber (2x4's etc.though I do believe they do sell it) it's good quality raw hardwood at a pretty good price and they have great customer service. I have bought some of the most beautiful mesquite slabs. If you do t know the lumber lingo or buying things in board feet confuses you just tell them you are new to it all and I'm sure they will e happy to help to teach you.
