Will never order from these guys again. I have not received my shirts I ordered 3+ months ago. The customer service department doesn’t seem to care. The said it was boxed and shipped. I also am now hearing its Saftey week and they’re extremely busy. It seems like they have all the excuses for not fulfilling my order. I will be telling all my friends how unprofessional this business is and not to do bush with them

I have used Sportex Safety Apparel for 10+ years. Personally, I was a fan of their quality and capabilities to make products that suited our specific needs. I even help open some doors for them because I believed in the things they were doing things and how they were focused on quality. Those doors ended up putting an enormous amount of money though their business.

Somewhere along the way, they lost their way. Their inability to execute, lack of communication and distancing customer service, became the status quo. For example:

As a customer, I shouldn’t have to run them down to get updates on my orders. More often than not, every date that is promised or estimated up front, is never reality. When you tell a customer a date, it should be a date they can easily execute on without scrambling or chaos. They are great at quoting a reasonable lead time and then failing to deliver. Dates slip, prices change, and how you find out about it is having to constantly ask for an update. No phone calls, no emails to tell you your order is behind schedule. No focus on making the scenario right for the customer either. You can expect AT LEAST two weeks beyond what they told you and in some cases 3-4 weeks. And that is only if you checkin with them regularly. If they think you are not paying attention to your order, they will slip something in front of your order in the production line to recover from another clients order that is behind schedule, delaying your order further.

The Sportex of today is a disorganized, logistical mess and I cannot, in good faith, recommend Sportex to any potential buyer until they fix these issues. They are great at making excuses, empty promises and appeasing apologies. There is ZERO desire to focus on balancing expectations and making it right for the customer. Even after several conversations with their leadership to correct the lack of execution and communication, they continue to fall short. The fact of the matter is they no longer care about the customer or maintaining relationships. I do hope they make the necessary changes to get the ship corrected. Until that time, I would encourage any potential buyer to look elsewhere to fulfill their needs.

Will never buy from here again. Bought five work shirts for $31 each and I get an email ten days later saying the price is now $43 a piece. If you want to wait the 10-15 day processing period to only be told they are raising tshirt prices by $12 then go ahead but I’ll be taking my business else where.
