This is a true story, there are really great people in the world. So not too long after we buried my stepson, my fiance wanted to make some form of temporary grave marker until we purchased a headstone. She was looking for acrylic or some sort of circular plexiglass. She wanted to hit up sign businesses. The first business was in this back street in Gilbert. On the outside, it looked like a really high class business. She walked in and I was like, there is no chance they will help out. A few minutes later this gentleman walks out with her and is holding this box. They place it in the back of the car. She tells me that he was going to throw away all this circular plexiglass and that she could have it. He wanted to know the reason why she wanted it. She told him about what happened to her son and at the time she was wearing a memorial shirt. At that moment he told her, "let's see what we can come up with". A complete stranger wanted to help out. They kept in contact through email and just yesterday we went back to his business to pick up the finished product. I met the gentleman, he was so down to earth, caring, and humble. He made this beautiful weatherproof banner to act as the temp headstone free of charge. It amazes me that there are still people in this world who still care and have big hearts.
