SpringHill Suites by Marriott Phoenix Tempe/Airport

Great place to stay in Tempe if you have a flight out. They have an airport shuttle that starts running at 4: 00a and they have airport parking as well (only if you stay at the hotel). The rooms are nice and you get a micro fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The room i stayed in, the bed had a spring poking out of the bed, i knew not much could be fine because the hotel was sold out this night I stayed, this was during a bowl game weekend. Free parking was a plus. There is airplane noise, that will happen when staying anywhere in northern Tempe or around the airport.

Good location, feels quite new. Also the room felt spacious. But practical details are missing. The spacious feel also meant it lacks a chair or two. The room badly needs a night light in the bathroom/ shower. There was a footstool, but pushed so tightly between the wall and the couch that we could not get it out to use it. In brief, it needs less attention to style and more attention to practical comfort.

Rooms are dated, facility is shabby at best. They are updating so hopefully it'll be a nice improvement but right now, not great. It's also very loud, and not just the airport noise. I mean, you expect that in an airport hotel, but the road noise, loud trucks outside, etc were disruptive.

Breakfast was top notch ant the staff was very friendly though, the only things that kept me from leaving mid-stay for another spot.

Place was decent however Ollie the manager was not very pleasant. I asked for a ride and it was just outside of their 2 mile radius and he just said no instead of offering to drop us off at the edge of their limit of two miles. Extremely unpleasant experience. I will say Lucia and John their staff the night before were excellent. Fire Ollie and promote Lucia or John for customer service.

Rooms are very spacious and the bed is comfy. Our room also had a sink and a microwave, in addition to a couch and desk. Check in was quick and the hotel is in a central location. The included breakfast looks good, but the burrito was a mushy mess. Waffles were ok as was the oatmeal. There's fruit and cereal available so I would go with that next time.

Customer service was horrific. When I asked the manager why I was assigned to a high floor room at the end of the hallway when my Marriott profile requests for a low floor room, even though I booked long before, his response without even looking at my profile was that he had been at work since 4am that morning and it was now 11pm. I’m not entirely sure what he was trying to accomplish, but it wasn’t a good look.

Under renovations currently, so that is never fun, silly bathrooms setup, AC noisy as hell, right under the flight path of Skyharbor, etc

Staff is so kind! The hotel is under renovation right now, but even with that- our stay has been delightful. The gym is super clean and well staffed too!

We made a last minute reservation here due to our flight being cancelled. The hotel shuttle picked us up and we were greeted by the sweetest concierge, Ms Cookie. She was incredibly warm and helpful. The room was updated, clean, and spacious. Ms. Cookie also made sure we caught our shuttle in the early hours. I can’t believe how lucky we got with this hotel. I highly recommend!

Stayed here with my family and everything was amazing. The room was bigger than I thought which was great. Front desk agents were such a delight. Went above and beyond to all our needs. Even though there was renovations going on I will definitely choose this hotel again. I can’t wait to see what the new look will be.

Absolutely awesome hotel! They worked with me and my fiance on our check-in. We had a very late check-in and they extended our check out until 4: 00 pm so we could get plenty of rest. How unbelievably nice is that? Plus the the breakfast was terrific! I had AAA stay, no doubt, I recommend this place to any and everybody! They also had their pool open which is awesome because nobody else seems to have theirs open yet.

Cookie was AMAZING. She was so kind and welcoming, even when she had so many guests needing her help. In the words of our friends "If every hotel had a few of her they would be doing great. "

Unfortunately, there was no hot water in my room on the morning of departure.

We've been staying here for over 7 years when we fly out of Sky Harbor Airport. The rooms are clean, the staff is AMAZING, we leave our vehicle parked there while we are on our trip and it's always safe, their shuttle service to and from the airport is super easy to use and they always arrive before they tell you.

We stayed here for a night before an early flight back home. The room was pretty dark, which as maybe kind of good, there were a lot of stains on the carpet. There was also a significant amount of mold growing on the walls in the bathroom. Luckily we were there for only 8 hours. But the water pressure was ok, and the bed and pillows were comfy and it wasn’t loud for being close to the airport. The shuttle service was great so we didn’t have to pay for an extra day of a rental car

We were only here for one night and overall everything was really nice and clean but we didn't feel well when we woke up and found the air filters really needed cleaned.
