Squire Pub reviews
16Great food. We had salmon, steaks, and the Indian taco. There was live music. Staff seemed stretched thin.
We had a great dinner! The service was excellent! Very polite and on top of everything. The food came out fast and very tasty. Definitely recommend.
Considering there were only two guys working the entire bar waiting on all the customers' food and drinks. And this place was packed. The food appears to be made in a kitchen upstairs in the hotel. And the reason my hamberger was not as warm as I like it. The pretzels were microwaved. So there's the review on food. But if you're looking for drinks and a game on the big screen, this is it.
Noisy sports bar, understaffed. Not equipped for dinners. Dry and tasteless, served at room temperature. Management is at fault, the waiters were running like crazy.
The cashier on the arcade side had an attitude at 1st but was okay after I had to tell him I've had a hard day, I brought my family here to eat & play & this is the customer service I get from you? After I mentioned that to him he changed his attitude. I told him I'd like to have his job. Had Pizza & wings for dinner here. Pizza was not so tasty. Wings were on point. Played pool & bowling. It was fun!
Meal taken on the go and expensive for what it was. The person who seated us was not at all friendly, but the waiter was. He gave good advice on the choice of dish.
This place is ahidden Gem. Indoor and oitdoor pool with hit tub open til 10pm with poolside bar. We stayed here almost a week and found the Pub and Arcade downstairs.the Staff were great, food was very good, drinks were delicious, don't forget to check out the arcade and the bowling across the hall. We leave tomorrow but will be back next year.
Good place to grab a drink and watch a game, terrible food. We had pub nachos (at a pub…) and these came out without the chicken we ordered, two diced cubes of tomato, cold cheese/unmelted, and half the chips were without toppings…for $16. The house salad “with pecans” had two pecan halves and was just lettuce without toppings. Would highly recommend not coming here for food.
The food was great and the atmosphere was nice. What sold the experience was Jordan. He was an amazing bartender and server. He was attentive and made us feel welcomed. It was a busy night, but he handled everything professionally and he still took time to check on everyone. We would definitely come back.
Awesome pub and bar within the Squire Resort. Bill, our bartender, was extremely knowledgeable and helpful about not just what the pub had to offer, but about the Grand Canyon area in general. We will be back during our several day stay!
As a customer love the food and staff! As an employee of Delaware North (new owners) I am so excited to see all the changes and improvements to this beautiful resort at the Grand Canyon!
This is the ONLY PLACE we will eat at here in Tusayan! The service here is great and food is delicious. Definitely recommend trying the Squire Pub, the hotel is great too!
To say something positive: very friendly staff. Everything else is sad.
The order was sometimes taken incorrectly and took a very long time. The burger we ordered was a disgrace: bun, sopping patty, cheese, patty, bacon, bun. No trace of jalapenos or onions, bone dry. The fries were thoroughly fried and also completely dry. You cannot order a Diet Coke or Zero. There's only Cola, Sprite, root beer. Very high prices. The house salad, also not to be outdone in terms of audacity, was actually 1 (yes a single) cherry tomato, 1 slice of cucumber and otherwise just lettuce leaves plus a plastic bowl of dressing. The drinks come in plastic cups. The waiter who brought the bill was very friendly and if the order was incorrect there was a 20% discount on the dish in question.
The pub was clean and spacious; very ‘pub-like’. The service was good, the food was hot. The only complaint I have is that the very end of the fish I had tasted strange and I felt that it was raw. The French fries were very good
Fish and chips was good. Not a lot of good restaurants around here. So this one, even if the service takes time is good.
