I am both an electric and irrigation customer! This company is fair, goes the extra mile for their customers and truly seeks to serve the community not only for utilities but to improve the life of everyone in the greater Phoenix metro area.

SRP know how to treat their customers. They have amazing customer service and in light of the pandemic are being gracious enough to waive late fees and shut offs. These people are good humans. An example for other companies for sure.

Dont fall the empower box. All they do is charge you $100 deposit for the box every time you move, so after over $400 in deposits all I received back is $61? Fraudulent scam artist.

The board is elected by landowners in a map from 1937 (not a typo). The board has set solar rates to make it cost prohibitive for individuals to install solar on their homes. This company is completely unethical and this should be illegal for a public utility.

I'd say worst office of them all. The boss is a piece of shit, careless, stuck up asshole. I wish he gets what he's doing to others. I'm talking about the people specifically, not what their company does, what that bitch ass boss did to a very sick employee. Oh because one has cancer we fire her? Fuck you.

I work for APS, but I would rather have SRP because it's cheaper. The MPower box is extremely helpful in paying off electricity and their customer service is a lot better.

Customer service is great, they are always willing to work with me. And anyone who needs to come to my place for a service issue is always friendly, helpful and professional.

So I'm actually an employee, but I was a customer long before becoming an employee. As such, I'll add the disclaimer that my views are my own and do not reflect SRP's views. I've had SRP, APS, and public utilities in other states as my electric providers and SRP is hands down cheaper and more responsive. There is a distinct difference in that SRP is non-profit.in fact, they just cut rates because they had a surplus. We average 1-2 outages a year and they rarely last more than an hour. Usually it's less than 30 minutes. We've had major underground lines repaird to our house in mere hours at 11: 00 at night! And that all has to do with their customer service and how they chose to design their system decades ago. Not to mention the choices of rate plans and payment options. Some of the frustrations with solar are legit but frequently also reflect a lack of understanding in how the grid works. I would encourage you to learn as much as you can about the unique challenges rooftop solar offers, and then understand the great lengths SRP is taking to incorporate it efficiently into the existing grid (see: smart inverters and peak use plans). It's true that you do not have a choice in electric company other than buying a new house.but having experienced other companies, I would choose SRP over all of them if I could.

I am a extremely upset with the start I've had with company. First my box doesn't work so I sit on the phone with the guy and trouble shoot it and he determines someone needs to come out and"reset"the box. It loads my money just fine of course but then tells me"communication problems". So the guy tells me sometime will be here "tomorrow on Sunday after noon". So I cancel all my plans and wait around. Well 6pm rolls around and I call to see where the guy is at. The customer service rep from the night before defiled me for Monday and put in his notes I had enough power to last me till Monday. I never ask for a specific day. So this guy voluntarily lied to me for no reason. I'm livid and he made me waste this entire day just to do this tomorrow again! And I didn't even get a sorry when I called today and told then what happened. It's like they went or of their way to give me horrible customer service and I don't get why.

A big money hungry power company. They're trying to kill solar. I love Arizona but can't stand SRP

SRP is a monopoly and they are hurting this economy. I have no choice in who provides my electricity (Monopoly). When I try to use solar energy they are burning bridges with local business and hiking prices up during the hottest months of the year.
These are obvious moves and actions by a company that not only doesn't care about their customers but more importantly doesn't care about the well being of our society or the earth's natural resources. If I could go off the grid with solar I would. Working on that now.
