So, I landed in Phoenix on a layover and I was hungry. I dunno, let's go for a burrito. Oh look! "Los Taquitos Mexican Grill! " Sure, not like we have a ton of choice but, we'll check it out.

It's a pretty standard Q'Doba or Chipotle setup, a board of ingredients out. You select your food, protein, and starches, and off you go. Small difference between this establishment and those bastions of fine Mexican cuisine I mentioned earlier (/sarcasm), ANY cheese is 1$, a little bit of lettuce is 1$, pico is. 50$, sour cream is. 50$, etc. Anything beyond beans, rice, protein, onion, cilantro (which they were out of), or salsa is at least. 50$ extra! How absurd!

Piddly portions of what you do get, a sloppily wrapped burrito without any means of conveyance (no bag, no nothing, napkins over there) and I'm out 15$! What a load of [redacted]. So, like just about any red blooded denizen of the internet, I turn to the Internet to air my grievances. Surprise surprise though, they don't really show up anywhere because why would they? Given their captive audience at the airport, the next best thing I could do was write this review for what is obviously the location supplying/managing them (given the company info on the receipt).

Since there are only a couple reviews on this location that are positive (and obviously written by some thinly veiled corporate shills), I can only imagine that this penny-wise pound-foolish behavior extends to every aspect of their business. They're website would have you believe they're PASSIONATE. About everything. I find that super hard to believe. Bet they're only passionate about gouging travelers for as much money as they can get away with by providing questionable ingredients (omg, the refried beans looked like they were nothing but about six inches of JUST that skin that develops over time on any part exposed to the air) at exorbitant prices. And given the complete lack of service their employees exhibited, I bet they're PASSIONATE about squeezing every penny out of their employees they can legally get away with too. What a shining example of why the Antiwork movement exists.
