Hi,
I did came to this church up until the Pandemic in 2020.
I thought this church had a good pastor and good sermons and good music and tries to reach out to a lot of people compares to other Missouri Synods.
Form time to time I watch to sermons of this church on line and atteaned a different church.
This church took the pandemic seriously but a lot of Missouri Synod churches didn't seem too. I priase Pastor Luke for handling the pandemic when watching the sermons on line.
Other reasons I left the Missouri Synod because I seems to be to Pro Trump, and they don't allow women to be pastors.
It does say in the Bible women can be leaders.
I hope things are well with you guys.

God's peace amen,

your friend Toby Nordeen

Amazing pastor Luke. Good people here. I have attended for over half of my life off and on due to moving away for some periods and attended many other types of Christian churches (ELCA, LCMS, WELS, and independent Lutheran churches & also Non denominational such as CCV & CCC & also Baptist, Methodist Churches) while away. Always welcoming & caring here. Not perfect, however no church or any organization is since it's run by imperfect humans. I almost never give 5 stars, and I would rate St. Luke 4.5 or 4.75 out of 5. Small community setting, not too big nor too small. They have traditional as well as contemporary services and also other settings and times like the Saturday night are very casual, which I prefer.
My teen son enjoys attending and looks forward to church as it is laid back and not judgemental. It's nice they have Saturday Eve service in addition for those who work on Sunday, as sometimes I do. My deceased grandmother was one of the founding members 60 years ago. She would be happy to see the church has stayed true to the mission of sharing the gospel and loving others. Lutheran church of the Missouri synod is a theologically more conservative Christian church and true to the teachings of the Bible in many ways and not as liberal or dare I even say woke as some other churches. To each their own, just saying how I see it.
Many retired pastors and retired DCE John and music worship leaders still teach and serve although they did retire many years ago.
