Elizabeth, Dr. Yell’s MA, was kind, caring, and helpful. Dr. Yell was calm, caring, and informative. She gave detail of a plan of action.

Dr. Yell was awesome! My exam moved swiftly and she was very professional and personable. Dr. Yell showed concern with my current med situation, however the course of action provided was not my first choice. The minus star is due to my feeling of being forced to go with a medication I did not want.due to the Dr.not prescribing the requested medication that does work for me (Non narcotic).
I would recommend Dr. Yell.

Let me start by saying I was not actually seen by Dr Yell. Booked my first appointment months ago and the date finally rolled around, I live in sahuarita so a 30+ minute drive to her office in the northwest hospital mall. I arrived and by the time I found her office after walking around the entire plaza I walked in at 11 (the time of my appointment). No receptionists were at the front desk and I stood waiting for another few minutes. I finally saw a receptionist and told her I had an appointment. She asked for my name and then told me “your appointment was for 11. ” it was then 11: 04. I responded I was aware and had been trying to find the office. She then looked me in the eyes and told me “No, you’re a new patient so that won’t work”, after “checking” with Dr Yell she said “sorry, you’ll have to go” and asked me to reschedule, for two months later even after I explained that I lived out of town and had made a drive for the appointment. The entire interaction was cold and unpleasant. Considering the vulnerable nature of these visits, I’m taking this as a good sign that I never even made it to meeting Dr Yell and will search for another doctor who makes patients feel welcome and comfortable.

Dr. Yell was very nice but she didn’t ask me hardly any questions or let me discuss anything I wanted to discuss, such a problems I was having. She seemed more interested in changing my birth control than anything. I take birth control to regulate my period and I’ve had zero complications with it for the past 3 years. I was very anxious going into my appointment because of the exam with a complete stranger so my blood pressure was super high. I explained I saw my PCP a month ago and my BP was perfectly fine and told her again I was just super anxious. She recommended I stop my birth control and consider getting an IUD put it. I wish she would have asked me more questions and listened to me. Again, she was very nice but rushing through appointments will make you miss important information regarding your patients.

She's very good at making feeling comfortable explaining what she's gonna do. Why she's gonna do it excellent doctor!

Very thorough and very professional! She wanted to follow up on other things when it concerned my family's health history so I can make the best decisions moving forward on certain things.

Dr Yell was amazing! She explained everything and gave great answers to my questions. I was in and out of the office in less than a half an hour. My daughter is now going to her.

Everyone was courteous and helpful. Dr. Yell was absolutely the best I have ever had in my life. She's happy and pleasant to talk to. I can't find the right words to describe her, but she gave me several options and referred me to another specialist.

She is a very knowledgeable and respectful doctor. I just started seeing her this year, and she has made me feel very comfortable during my visits and when asking questions.

I was so excited to use their online scheduling to book a dame day apt! Did my new patient docs all online made paperwork less in the office. Thanks so much!

Dr. Yell is always professional, thorough and easy to talk to. Her staff are friendly and efficient - I am usually seen within 10 minutes of my appointment.

The wait was a little longer than I expected, but I like to think that happens when a doc is taking time to listen and be thorough. Once in the office, both Dr. Yell and her nurse were very pleasant and kind. Dr. Yell offered recommendations without the pushiness and condescension I have gotten from some GYNs in the past (which led to a 10 year hiatus in care). I felt heard and comfortable and happy with the visit

This was my first visit to this doctor and I can’t say I was left particularly satisfied. I waited to be seen by the doctor for about 15 min and found this doctor to be reserved and somewhat old-fashioned in her approach. She also couldn’t understand some of my questions and couldn’t provide a definitive answer. Some of the treatments she mentioned were a bit confusing.

Going to the doctor, especially for a personal exam is never the most exciting thing to do; so finding a good doctor is so imperative. I have had some bad experiences in the past which has made me reluctant to go for a long time. I finally had my PCP refer me to Dr Yell and I couldn't be more lucky. She listened to all my concerns and slowly and kindly walked me through everything she was doing and was not in a rush. She found something concerning which has been dealt with in a professional and prompt manner. I can't say enough how amazing she is with her patients.

Dr Yell is a delight to work with. She's knowledgeable, professional, and compassionate. The staff are great too.

I can highly recommend Dr. Yell. Seeing a OB/GYN is not something I look forward to. Dr. Yell made me feel at ease. She answered every question, made appropriate referrals and sent prescriptions to my pharmacy promptly. I will recommend her to my friends and plan to see her on an annual basis.
