Tom is great to work with along with the other staff members. I have worked at a few different staffing agencies, and this is by far the best one. Tom takes the time to make sure your skills are a good fit for the company that he is going to place you with and was very good with communicating with me through the process and is always available to answer questions. I have been working on and off with StaffMatters for the last three years and in particular with Tom Cassell. I was not looking for a temp agency, he reached out to me because of my background and a very unique position. The details were vague, he didn’t have a timeline for me because the company didn’t know either but it worked out and after the interview I was hired. After that Tom placed me in numerous positions that suited my skill set, my requirements to be close to home, and pay requirements (no easy feat!). He was always very aware of my parameters and sometimes I would go months without hearing from him but I knew I was always on his radar. One time a job went South on me, no fault to him, StaffMatters or myself - it was just a clash of personalities and he still helped me find other positions afterwards. He did not blame me nor cut off contact with me. I really appreciated that level of professionalism and understanding. It’s bitter sweet I finally found a company who made room permanently for me because I’ve enjoyed working with him these past years. The job I have accepted started as a temp job StaffMatters placed me in. I also want to give a shout out and thank you to Jasmin for her help, quick response time and generally friendliness and knowledgeability.

I was referred to this company by a job callback who spoke highly of the agency that was used on a regular basis. I called to submit my resume, the receptionist gave a name and email address to submit my application. 1 month and multiple resumes submitted later, I have not received acknowledgment for my resume nor myself. As grateful as I was to this person for this referral, it does not look good on the person making this suggestion.
