Sugar Bowl reviews
21Great customer service delicious ice cream. I also had the meatloaf sandwich which was pretty good the bread could have been a little more fresh.
Love my hometown old fashioned ice cream parlor. Stop in for a quick lunch or a ice cream. My family has a long standing tradition of "dessert first" lunch here. We love it. And so will you!
Is by far the cutest little ice cream shop I've ever seen.my wife and I both ordered double decker sandwiches for lunch and they were amazing. We did not get ice cream this time because we were so full, but we have had the ice cream there before and it's truly fantastic. The service and wait staff were perfect. I highly recommend the Sugar Bowl
It was very crowded when I went (I was waiting on a date so I waited for about 10 minutes and saw several people come in the door look around and go out) but overall good experience and great ice cream!
Tuna salad was not very good. Like they put it in blender. Restos - please stop putting mayonnaise on tuna salad bread. Enough already.
Old time ice cream parlor with Sundaes, shakes, malts and much more. We ordered cheeseburgers and they were really good. I would highly recommend this place for ice cream. It sits right on the Main Street in Old Town Scottsdale.
Me and my family love this place! We have to stop by everytime we visit Old Town Scottsdale. They have the most friendly staff and the ice cream flavors are out this world.
This is a classic 50 style ice cream parlor for the small arcade room off to the side great for kids are enjoying some old school decor friendly staff really good treats
I love this place, it is like you have traveled back in time. The prices are good. Parking is hard and having to stand in line to pay with a credit card is a little frustrating when you have little ones you're trying to corral.
Hard to believe, but there are not a lot of ice cream places in the Phoenix Metro area. I love ice cream, so I went on a mission to find it. I found Sugar Bowl. They have several options for Sundaes and Banana Splits. Go ahead and explore them. I like the location and the ambience. A famous cartoonist lived in the area that made some cartoons about this business. I definitely enjoy coming here whenever i can when I’m in the area. Enjoy!
A great place since 1958. Meatloaf sandwich was good. The chocolate malt was delicious as well. The have a good deli style menu and their ice cream is excellent. Banana Split anyone?
This is a great place for dessert. The bannana splits are amazing and the shakes are great. This is not really a restaurant that serves desserts, it's really a dessert shop that serves some descent food. The staff does a good job of making you feel welcome. As long as you go in with the idea in mind of having fun and getting some of the best desserts in scottsdale, you will not be disappointed.
Great place, great ice cream, deserving of 5 stars but the payment process is stupid and antiquated.
I heard so much about this place. Service was terrible! Our waitress az cited we where inconveniencing her. Food was mediocre at best. Shakes weren't good
Original, quaint little place. I’m from out of state, so this place was so awesome! Great service and atmosphere!
This place is PERFECTION! From the vintage pink 1950s decor to the quality of the ice cream to the friendliness of the staff, we couldn't have had a better experience! There's a small game room attached to pass the time waiting on your food, but you likely won't be waiting long. There are Family Circus comics in the menu and hanging up, as this was a favorite hangout of Bill Keane. The prices are just right as well, especially for the area. Check this place out! It's truly adorable!
Fun experience. We brought out of town friends here for dessert. Servings are pretty large, definitely enough to share. Cute ambience, like an old fashioned ice cream parlor. Bill Keene even featured this place in his Family Circus comic strip. If you're not up to dessert they also serve other foods.
Awesome menu with all my favorites - decor, menu, service and prices all brought me back 50 years. A great experience.
First Impressions, smells like urine from the moment you walk in. We didn’t order anything because of the smell and the horrible customer service; our waiter was rushing and didn’t want to elaborate on the items we were asking her about and when she did she seemed annoyed and not inclined to tell us.
Authentic retro place, the real deal for ice cream and diner food. Perfect place to take a break from the heat when walking around Old Town Scottsdale.
