Sundance Park reviews
19Yesterday was my first time to this park with my kids. I didn't know what to expect but over all I thought it was good. There was a really good variety of equipment for a large age range. A few critiques tho to explain my 4 star rating. For as large as the park is I think there should be more picnic tables. I also think the arrangement could've been done a little better because the bathrooms are quite far from the play area and tables. My friends daughter hit her face and ended up with a bloody nose so that's kind of a far walk with a bloody nose. My biggest critique is the green circular swing type thing in the air is dangerous, worse than the merry go round. As previously mentioned, we had an injury in our group and it was because she was hanging and swinging on that green one and a bigger kid grabbed on to swing too and swung it too hard causing her to fly off and hit her face in the wood chips. Not safe! Otherwise we had a good time!
Met up with families from the community for a family friendly softball game. All were welcome. The facilities were great. Children not wanting to play had a wonderful playground where they never got bored. Fantastic venue.
Clean most of the time. Good experience 85% of the time. Although owners unsure about their dogs "aggression" shouldn't go since thier anxiety about confrontation will unsettle their dogs
This is a pretty good dog park never had an issue with any dog or owner until tonight. We’re not sure if it was an accident or intentional but someone took our dogs leash from the big dog side, and left a small ripped blue one in its place. That isn’t fair to our dog and it is a really nice red retracting leash. We would appreciate if whoever took it manned up and gave it back as soon as possible, so we can continue bringing our dog here. This took place between 6: 45pm-7: 45pm 08/27
Great dog park small/large dog split. Playground only about 100 yards away from it. Lots of rides for kiddos and very clean!
We attended a company picnic at Sundance Park. It was easy to find even though we were not familiar with the area. The park is spacious! The restrooms were very clean! We were really busy with all the bounce houses and activities our company set up so I didn't notice if there was playground equipment, basketball courts or other things typically found at parks. We will likely return and I will update.
Lived near here for 2 years and had no idea there was a dog park here, generally the people and their dogs are pleasant but always check before you let your dog off it's leash
Have used the park for birthdays and the dog park area. Great park just waiting for a water feature. Baseball, soccer volleyball courts. Has bathroom facilities they are ok. Bring water as the water fountains are so so. Great park though.
They had an awesome Easter celebration for the kids. It was well put on and everybody had a great time.
Awesome disc golf course easy to navigate a little smelly at times but it's only at a few holes and it's easy to play two games back to back. No restrooms though so keep that in mind and byow (bring your own water).
It's okay. Not enough parking for all the parents who bring their kids for soccer. The electric outlet at the west table area has been disabled; would have been nice to have electricity.
Very nice park, it has a nice play area for the kids and nice volley ball set up with a huge baseball diamond. The only negative is the amount of limited tables and the restroom being so far from the table area.
Great park with a very large play area for children and social gatherings like volleyball, soccer and flag football practice groups and exercise groups. They also have separate parks for small and large dog as well as other activity areas.
If I still lived in buckeye I'd visit more. Only issue seems like they never dump the trash cans
Me and my sisters and parents had allot of fun there was a easter egg hunt and we rode horses and all today and it was amazing the park it's self was fun and it was packed I got a unicorn balloon hat
We saw balloons fly away it was cool
Kid and pet friendly. This is one of the best things that Buckeye has. Workers are here daily, cleaning up, trimming trees etc which I appreciate. It does get crowded in the evenings and on the weekends because of recreational soccer so expect to park on the dirt. They seem to have a splash plad planned for the future so if you have kids this is something to look forward to!
Really great Park however there should be more seating for parents watching their kids on the playground.
Very clean and organized for many sports and has a playground clean bathrooms and no troublemakers. A very decent upscale park
Perfect park to workout and take your kids to place. Also it has 2 sections where you can walk your dog depending on the size. The only thing missing is a basketball court other than that Its one of my favorite parks close by.
