Sundowner Apartments, Phoenix AZ

I lived in two apartments here. The first time I posted they had rats in our apartment and they deleted the reviews lol coo. They moved us to a different apartment. But when we moved in they moved us in a apartment with wet paint. Other than that everything was fine but in the last of our days we experienced roaches and bedbugs. From the neighbors who had like 10 people living inside. Boom they moved really nice CLEAN neighbors but then we noticed we had gnats flying everywhere. They said it’s coming from the drain and fruits but literally we cleaned everything to avoid it THEY HAD HIDDEN MOLD where they would just paint over! The lady in the office tried to tell us we were dirty when our apartments were always super clean! But no they had hidden mold in the walls. They never did anything to fix it. I can keep my one star bc when we fell in hard times l& couldn’t pay the rent in time she would understand& work with me & my family. But as for those apartments inside stay far away from them. They went from like 900 to like 1500 too much for raggedy apts!

Now I'm older and realizing how the place was, this was a very horrifying tragedy I had to grow up with, bed bugs, crimes in the area, was a witness. I hated everything because I was just young and my parents didn't know English it was very sad.
Mostly this was where immigrants where here to live and the sad thing is not we aren't treated right sometimes.
But I was just too young to understand the truth, I was still able to make the most great memories with my young friends.

After months of complaining the ceiling was leaking and there was black mold the upstairs neighbors toliet fell through the ceiling and this is how it was fixed.
It was never repaired properly.
Slum lords at best. Do not rent here!

I can only speak on my own personal experience with management at Sundowner. The the lady working in the office is always nice to me and very understanding. I was approved a wwek after I applied. And was also given a move in discount. I haven't had any complaints it's been good so far.
