The original experience when we purchased the hot tub, was good of course, we were buying a $10,000 hot tub, it all went bad from there, the delivery experience was awful, first they could not find our tub two weeks after we paid for it, then it took two weeks to get it delivered, but that was two years ago. Now we need some parts, one of our headrest broke, and one of our diverter valve handles broke, so I stopped in to buy some parts and was told "we do not sell parts", call a hot tub repair person.
Then I went to the website and went to chat, I explained I was looking for parts, I was given a number to call, I tried calling several times with no answer, so I left a message a couple of days ago, no one has called me back. I will look somewhere else if I or someone I know is looking for a hot tub!

Horrible customer service. We bought a spa from Sunset last year about 10k in Tucson, AZ. I tried calling today to get a replacement filter, the sales rep would answer the phone then hang up. "I'm to busy to take your call! " 2x. Very disrespectful!

Spa delivered but never shown how to get access panels removed for power hookup. When asked for help just told “to look at manual. ” Now being charged $120 for service man to show us how to remove panels. Never told all service must be coordinated out of Phoenix despite being told service personnel available in Tucson.

Paid cash same day, waited 3 weeks for delivery and the crew damaged a panel, installed another upside down, and upon trying to connect it. Discovered the sales staff had demoed the unit and fried it by not disconnecting power before pulling wiring. 3 service visits later, we have an expensive puddle.

I purchased a Sundance Spa from Sunset Spas the end of March 2023. This was at a Park Mall sales event. The delivery crew damaged the cover prior to delivery. I was assured a cover was ordered that day. It has been 4 months and I still do not have a cover for my spa. I have made multiple calls and each time I speak with a customer service person I receive a different answer. The spa itself is great, however I would be very reluctant to purchase anything from Sunset Spas. It appears they are fine selling the hot tub but not standing up to their promises if something is damaged or wrong with the product they sold.

We just bought a spa at Sunset in Tucson during the tent sale. Jesse was a great help, explaining all the options and did not rush or push anything on us. After the purchase we then called Maria that helped us schedule and finish the transaction. She made is very smooth and painless. Then came delivery. Craig and his crew showed up and removed the busted spa and brought in the new one. Craig was great, explaining ever step to us and showing us the features of the new spa and giving us some helpful hints.when Craig was done everything was cleaned up and removed with no footprint in the back yard.a great duo; Sunset spa and Craig.

We purchased a spa a few years ago. There were electric requirements they failed to disclose. Thankfully we trust our electrician to do it right. Their service department does not answer or return calls, is slow to return emails, and when they finally do schedule service just before arrival time they say “oops we don’t have the parts for that model. ”

Purchased our spa at the home show and was pleased with the purchase process. Delivery is when it started going down hill. The "set up" did not include connection to electric or even filling with water. No owners manual or any instructions were provided. Have a couple of problems with jets and leak in a valve so scheduled service.
Two times now we get a call on the day that the tech is supposed to be here, letting us know that he will not be coming.
Went into the store for chemicals and it felt like we were an inconvenience for the salesman.

I purchased a spa in August of 2021. A panel was crushed when they delivered it and the cover was not the right size. For the past few years, I have tried to get the panel replaced but I have just gotten the runaround and now no one cares, at this point. I do not recommend this company to anyone that is buying a spa.

Terrible service. We bought a spa in December and from the begining nothing has worked. When you try to call someone for service they never respond or return phone calls and emails. I wouldn't purchase from here as we are looking to return our purchase.

We purchased a spa from Sunset Spas on Costco Drive, November 26,2022. Doug Crawford was very knowledgeable and helpful. He was never pushy. He is a "A" personality without a doubt, but I am OK with that. After a lot of questions and visiting a competitor, we went with a Sunset Spa (house spa). Best words I could use for a unit on display with no nameplate on it like a Jacuzzi or Viking. It is actually a Sunrans model SR878. But, good luck finding that out, unless you research the internet like I did.
I set up for delivery with Maria. She was awesome and easy to work with. Three weeks later, as promised Mark and his crew showed up with our new tub. About two hours later it was installed, up and running. Mark gave me a start up kit, manuals and a rundown on operating the tub. I would recommend you give Sunset Spa a try if you are looking for a hot tub.

We're beyond disappointed with the poor customer service with Sunset Spas. They delivered our spa on Friday with no instructions on how to operate, plus no starter kit. So, now on Monday we're still waiting for a call. It's a lot of money to spend and not get any customer service! Shame on Sunset Spas!

Tommy saved the day! He arrived a week after delivery and explained everything to us and provided us with the starter kit!

I would give them a 1/2 star when my tub was delivered in Feb it had a faulty electronic component which would trip the breaker it took 2 weeks to get them to repair it now I’ve had a leak for over a week and have left 2 messages with no call backs so I have to call my pool guy to repair as they don’t wanna fulfill the warranty it seems next stop is the bbb horrible customer service
