I am so excited to share that I now am the proud owner of Sun solar sun panels on my home energy panels the team that arrived at my home at 6 AM three very nice young men were there until 3 PM that day to put the panels on the house and everyone that has come has been so respectful and they left nothing behind I want to thanks and solar sincerely Andrea Gecho

TLDR: SunSolar doesn’t guarantee that the system they install will produce usable electricity for your home.

Bad experience. Look elsewhere.

Sales person made promises they didn’t keep in order to get us to sign the contract.

Had 3 different project managers. Poor communication & no clear timeline of when our system would be functional.

Took 4 months from install to get up and running. Canceled appointments. SunSolar blames delays on APS and the city (event though we live in the unincorporated area). System was functional for less than a month before inverter went out. SunSolar says we are responsible for the loan although our system didn’t produce electricity for our house for a full month. They “aren’t responsible for manufacturing defects, ” even though they chose the manufactures. Now we have to pay a summer electric bill & solar loan.

We were told someone monitors our system and they would fine tune, but we had to bring the loss of production to their attention after several days of no solar.

Owner contacted me about my review. Wasted my time having me talk to customer service reps to just tell me they will try to do better in the future, offering no solutions for our dissatisfaction. They blocked me from their Facebook page so I can’t review. “Owner” then blocked me on FB messenger.

Apparently they use subpar parts and don’t care about their customers. Find another company.

You have your guy Josh soliciting my house at 8pm 6/29/22. I told him I'm not interested. He proceeds to leave my home and leaves my gate wide open. I asked him nicely to shut the gate and he tells me SORRY IM NOT INTERESTED. I got it all on video. Please reach out to me so this can be rectified.

For your awareness, please be cognizant of the warranty customer service before your $45k plus purchase;

1. Sun Solar took an estimated 4 months to replace roof tiles that were damaged during installation (Monsoon season started).
2. Warranty Customer Service lied to my face in a phone call informing me that I was producing power for that past month when I haven’t been. Clearly they told me I was producing power just to get me off the phone (a spit in the face and a way to call me dumb). I found out by staying home from work to witness the troubleshot and personally witnessed the inverter arch flash.
3. When I followed up, it is at least a 1 week - 3 week lead time for approval, procurement, and installation.

Please note, this is a month of not producing power and paying for a system that does not work. I purchased the system 4 months ago and have had this experience. This is for future customer awareness before making your next big purchase that supposedly is cost saving but is clearly not if you are still paying for electricity and need to stay home from work to see if the customer service is not lying about producing electricity.

These guys were at my house today and I had a brand new pair of white shoes outside by the truck they were drying because we just cleaned them out and all of a sudden they're missing coincidence I don't think so I think they stole them well returned I won't follow police report but we have a camera and I'm going to have my brother when he comes home review and when it shows up who took them if it's you I will prosecute to the letter if they returned I will not so I suggest you return them you have one hour

I’m editing my review because after the installation and the original review, my inverter went down. It has been down for almost a month. They continue to tell me they’re working on it and not to worry because it’s under warranty. Well considering the system is less than 6 months old it should be under warranty. I’m paying for a system that doesn’t work and now I have an electric bill due. I’ve asked for a refund or credit for the time that it’s been down and neither SunSolar or GoodLeap (the finance company) want to step up.
SunSolar was a fantastic company to work with. Jake was the first person I met with in the sales department. He was so patient and thorough explaining each phase of the process. I like to ask why and he had an explanation for it all. He checked in during the installation and made sure I was still comfortable with how things were going.
Chris was my project manager during applications, inspections and installation. He was prompt with his responses and called only when he needed an answer right away. He did as much as he could through text which was my preferred communication.
They sent all the documentation I would need to work with the HOA and explained what I needed to do and what would happen next.
I never felt pressured to purchase. The customer service is outstanding. Overall this was one of the easiest and least time consuming processes I’ve been through. I have recommended them to other new homeowners and will continue to do so.

These people are so annoying with there door to door sales. They don’t take no for a answer and literally knock on your door every week. Like dude if you product is that good ill find you, know leave people alone!

Questionable business practices. They use a trashy agency that goes door to door noisily leaving brochures. The best part, they're inept enough not to follow posted signs. This practice ensures we will NEVER visit them and reflects poorly upon their situation.

As a retired water/industrial professional I have to give this “team” a well done agreed!
Also, we did our homework and these folks made a necessary as “painless” as it can be.

Communication with this company is first rate. We were kept updated through the whole purchasing and installation process. Also service is very good. We have had a small glitch in one inverter communication and they are taking care of it. Response is very good.

I had Sunsolar Solutions do my solar install and it has been awesome. They did extremely good work and kept me up to date as to what was going on all along the way. Even ensured everything was painted to match. Awesome job and I highly recommend them.

The project took twice as long as expected and Sun Solar did all they could to make the delay as least unconformable as possible. We signed up for solar in June 2021. The project was supposed to be done by October 2021. Our system didn’t produce solar until December 2021. My wife and I had some frustrations with the delay. Anytime we expressed it to Sun Solar they helped make up for the delay. I am not a person that expects things to go perfect. I look at how organizations handle things when they go wrong, or issues arise.
Overall, Sun Solar made each issue we had right. I was left with the impression that the owner wants the customer to be satisfied.
Out of a rating of 1 to 5 here is how I rate the different people/teams we worked with from Sun Solar.
Salesperson – 5 – Justin was upfront and straightforward when gave his sales pitch for solar and Sun Solar. I had to reach out to him multiple times after the project was underway to get things resolved. He was a huge help all the way through the process.
Project managers/coordinators – 2 – I had several project managers during the sixth-month process. This was the part of Sun Solar that I struggled with. Each time the project manager changed I would have to remind them of things that were included in the purchase. Therefore, Justin was contacted a few times. I also had to reach out to my project coordinators multiple times to get updates. What I then asked for was a weekly update even if nothing had changed from them. Sun Solar did that for me and it was helpful to know the status each week and what was being worked on.
Construction Crew – 5 - The construction crew that installed the solar system was awesome. The foreman was transparent and open during the construction.
Sub-contractors – 5 – The people Sun Solar had come out for bird netting, power washing, and to work on my electrical box were all professional and friendly.
Inspection/Repair crews – 5 – As with most projects a few things had to be corrected and fixed to get final approval from APS and the City. The crews from Sun Solar that took care of this part were a big help and gave me the impression that they wanted everything corrected and fix it as soon as possible.
Overall, my wife and I are enjoying the solar system and having a credit on our APS bill.
I would recommend Sun Solar to anyone interested in getting Solar.
Special thanks to our sales guy Justin and to the owner for making things right each time there was an issue.

Getting in my car to leave on my driveway a Sun Solar Rep approaches me and introduces himself and hands me a card, I declined his card and I explain to him that I am not interested in Solar, and that I am late to work, he then very aggressively starts talking about how I do not want to hear about Solar, I only want to hear about APS, and that I better get solar because Biden and the government is going to force me to get it? I respond that what he is saying is not true, and that I already told him I was not interested either either way, and asked him to leave, there was another gentleman waiting in a wrapped Sun Solar truck parked backwards behind my driveway, he shouted to the first guy to "come on you are wasting your time with that guy" I am not sure why they would think this type of conduct would appeal to any potential customer?

Your salespeople talk a good game, and the install goes great, but the post-install service does not live up to expectations. We were told that the system would be monitored for outages. We have had to call you both times it has been down. The first time about 3 days after install. The second time a month later. We have now been down for 4 weeks, and today when you don’t show up for the service date you scheduled for us, WE had to call you to find out why and were told you didn’t show up because of an “emergency” and that it would be 2 more weeks before you came out. How can you justify this lack of communication and service? I am at the point where if I could have this system taken off my roof and get my money back I would, but I guess we’re stuck together, so how about fixing my system, huh?

I believe sun solar is a upfront honest company. We were a few weeks into a large project and had a changed in our lives that made us have to cancel the contract. Chris and all the guys at sun solar canceled the project with no issues or problems at all. Really stand up if them. I would definitely trust them with future business

Everyone from Adam the sales person, the install team, Chris the project manager and the field service rep where great to deal with. They answered all my questions and did a great job on my install.
