Super 8 by Wyndham Goodyear/Phoenix Area

We were caught up in the flight cancelations of Christmas 2022. Needed a place to stay until flights resumed out of Phoenix. This Super 8 accommodated us for 5 nights. All of the staff was great. The night clerk Sierra got us settled in. She is outstanding! She is very adept at her job, professional, courteous and kind.

Cofee, tea and little pre packaged muffins. No protein choise which is problematic for a diabetic.

This hotel should be burned down and rebuilt. The room was completely unacceptable. It smelled of cigarettes (we booked a non smoking room), cigarette burns all over the bed, roaches, and unfriendly staff. Avoid staying here. You’re better off sleeping in your car.

Staff was AMAZING! They were super friendly and so helpful. Rooms were clean and disinfected. Linens were fresh and so were the sheets. The only one downfall is the breakfast, it was just a muffin. Waffle House and IHOP were across the street though. Beds were comfortable. We stayed 4 nights and never had an issue. I would definitely recommend this place.

I was looking for a reasonable priced clean room, that allowed early check in without a reservation, accepted cash, and wasn't too far off my route. This hotel checked every box. Great customer service.

Nice room, could use a little update. They advertise that they have a grab and go breakfast but they only had some mini muffins, nothing else. The girl that checked us in was not very friendly and she was on the phone with a personal call. We have stayed here before and it was much better. Probably won't stay here again until we see some good reviews.

This rez was for my daughter. I was emailed a consent form for the charges. What should have been a blank form WAS FILLED WITH THE CONFIDENTIAL FINANCIAL/CREDIT CARD INFO OF ANOTHER GUEST. I HOPE THAT DOESN’T HAPPEN TO ME.

Comfortable bed, free wifi, friendly front desk, donuts and coffee in the morning, all great. The best part is no carpet in our room, which we feel is far more clean feeling. Nice tile floors in the entry and bath.
A/C worked well too.

THEY HAVE ROACHES! And the manager KRISTA was so rude THEN proceeded to tell me there are only 2 rooms with roaches.but if you know that why are they renting out those rooms? !

I saw 2 roaches in the bathroom.so I called when we found them around 4am.the front reception l said they would move us upstairs.but there is no elevator and we only got a room because someone was injured on our trip so moving upstairs wasn’t an option. Front desk said she could not refund we would have to wait for a manager at 3pm.we left.came back at around 10 or 11am.when the manager came in she was screaming at me.she was rude! When I went to the front desk she left! I waited til 5 pm for her to come back.i went to the front. She continued to not listen and be rude when this was not fault of mine. We had a stay of 2 days she would not refund the first day only half of a day… and she would not provide a full refund which was requested! The receptionist was fine but the manager was so rude! She even called the police on me! The police told me they always have issues with her and this is not the first time she has called them. They also told me she always gets into it with customers and calls the police. They left there was no issue with them at all!

It was a budget friendly place. We went to a previous motel but had to move and although this was cleaner and nicer than the previous one, they do have gaps in the bottom of the door way between the bathroom and the sink and roaches will be seen.

The room was spacious, updated and clean. Front desk representatives we interacted with were friendly and capable. Coffee and juice in the morning were appreciated!

I love Krista and Rylan. They are amazing. Housekeeping is on top of their game. Recommend to everyone

The rooms were nice and seemed clean. The manager was helpful and polite. I appreciated the fact that it smelled clean but didn't have cover-up fragrances that give me a sore throat or head ache. It was right off I-10. I was able to get on McDowell and stay on less traveled roads.

This was a fast clean place to stay for the night! Close to places to eat and a continental breakfast in the a.m. Staff was very friendly too! Enjoyed our stay! ️

It was a comfortable room but toilet was loose on the floor.someone put the toilet bowl handle on the wrong way.
Bathroom could have been cleaner.
Fan in bathroom was so loud I wouldn’t use it.
