SureStay Plus By Best Western Scottsdale North reviews
17Older building with remodeled rooms but small Breakfast is complimentary but the dining area was filthy and attendant wasn’t refilling or cleaning. Bare minimum on customer service from staff. Won’t stay here again when in town
Customer service was very nice and let us leave a day early.
I didn't sleep at all when we stayed here due to the traffic, the fan made awful sounds, the bathroom had other people's hairs in there and it sounded like someone was going to break in on the middle of the night.
Also, lots of airplanes overhead.
Not ideal for small kids when you need sleep.
I had a great stay here actually, they have definitely redone a lot in this hotel very modern upgrades, water pressure is insane works so good, bed was super comfy and rooms were pretty clean. Front desk staff was on point as well great customer service from both evening staff and daytime always helped me and was always attentive.
Place has bed bugs just being in room for 10 minutes I had already got bit. Checked out right after motel 6 is better fitting
Drunks aggressively tried to break into my room at 1am (was on 1st floor). Got moved to the third floor (more secure floor) but was woken up at 5: 45am by extremely intense marijuana smoke (woke up with my eyes watering it was so intense). The staff did as much as they could, but there’s only so much you can do with scum for guests. This SureStay by Best Western in North Scottsdale is a lowlife oasis in an affluent neighborhood.
One of the cleaner and fresher smelling hotels I've ever been in. Check in was very quick and convenient. Friendly Service all around.
Very affordable and good for the price!
Horrible that they charged me 300$+ for staying one night, nothing worse then getting ripped off especially after talking up the place to the GM.
I have never payed more for less… rooms smell like smoking weed. Showers don’t have a door or even a curtain. Paint repairs on the wall. Even the breakfast was bad, stone cold eggs and sausage.
Don’t recommend this place to anyone for the price
This has to be the worst Best Western I’ve stayed. Loud drunk people partying, tub doesn’t drain and water pressure from shower head so powerful it hurts. Took me 45 minutes to set up the t.v which was completely disconnected. Asked for 2 towels as there weee two in the room but my daughter and grand daughter wrap their hair. At first house keeping told me I couldn’t have 2 more unless I gave her the other 2, I told her I’m not stealing them they are hard rough I wouldn’t want them she finally gave in. Our key didn’t work to get in the door on two occasions. They’ve taken an old hotel.slapped some lipstick on it and charge full price. This is not a typical Scottsdale hotel. This is no better than a Motel 6. Think again before staying here. Or the air conditioner sounds like an airplane and the one bed was completely sunk in the middle. Run fast from this place.
Decent place to stay at in Phoenix if you're traveling by car. It's a bit off the city center and the shopping and dining options within walking distance are limited. The hotel has a pool with a small lounge area and a whirlpool. The rooms were okay, the door was annoyingly hard to open, the hair dryer was defective and the bed a bit squeaky. The breakfast options were plenty and the receptionist very friendly. Can recommend if you are on a budget.
The bed was comfortable and the room was clean. There were no curtains on the window and the blind that was used was see-thru, so we had to change in the bathroom. We also couldn't have a printed out receipt, so now we'll have to check our email for it. The location was convenient for what we were doing, so the plus and minus of it all pretty much evened out.
Website states it is a pet free hotel and is the reason we stayed there as my family has severe pet allergies. There were several pets seen on the property. I was disgusted when I went to get breakfast and there was a dog in the breakfast area! The staff did nothing to correct it. Along with that, the room smelled terrible, the toilet seat was cracked, and the staff was less than helpful. Then, reached out to the manager to request a refund and he proceeded to yell and be condescending to me! To me the way the manger handled (or didn't) handle himself was worse than the actually concerns I had.
Made me feel so welcome! Like they had known us for years! I would directly stay here again and again!
I don't normally post reviews but I feel this is a must. The room was remodeled but the sink to wash face had a kitchen sink faucet so when you used it you hit your head on it. Also the coffee pot was on table where there was no electrial outlet. The ironing board had no cover. The one side of king bed had a big dent in mattress, had to sleep in middle. But the worst was that the floors were really really dirty. When I asked to have them cleaned I was told no they could not do that. I said I would do it myself so they brought us a swiffer with no pad and the cleaning solution was febreeze solution for the air. Got them to bring in some old towels to clean with. We were there for 3 nights and no one offered to clean after I did it. I was comped for 1 night. I think that was very little for the filth on the floor.
The manager was very understanding That was the only good part of the stay. Next time I will NOT be using a Best Wertern unless I read all the reviews first.
I stayed here for 3 nights 90$70$100$. The guy I dealt with the first two nights was pretty cool. The older guy with the glasses is a big jerk. I'm a paying customer if I want to hit up the vending machines I can I'm paying. Every time he would see me he would give me a dirty look
All I have to say is EVERY SINGLE PERSON THAT WORKS HERE are amazing SERIOUSLY AND NO nobody paid me to write this review or even asked me to leave a review HELL I don't even do reviews but I had to give credit where credit is due and everybody and I mean every person that works here are just amazing like these people really are genuine people who actually like there jobs and care about there guest and the breakfast in the mornings are freaking ON POINT. EVERYTHING IS ALWAYS VERY CLEAN NO BUGS NO DUST THE POOL IS AWESOME coMe to think about it i might NEVER LEAVE HAHA NO BUT 6 STARS FOR SURE BECAUSE THEY HAVE ONE UP ON EVERY OTHER PLACE IVE STAYED AT
Hot tub smelled like they dumped bleach in it rather than pool solution. The breakfast was super unimpressive but thank goodness they are near restaurants and a Starbucks which is why I gave them 2 stars not 1. My main issue is I was harassed by the front desk (an older looking guy looks like Colonel Sanders) who accused me of not staying in the hotel and in turn forced me to show my room key as proof. He apologized, but I couldn’t help but feel profiled being a brown person. Spend a little more money and stay somewhere else while in Scottsdale.
