Front desk tried to bill me full cost up front, so I got my insurance on the phone at the office to prove they would cover the cost. The office agreed to see me after paying my co-pay. But then weeks later I receive a bill in the mail for an outstanding co-pay. After spending hours on the phone with the billing dept, my insurance company and the front desk at the office, it still has not been resolved and the office is suddenly “closed down”. The front desk person perviously said they found my payment but it was not applied to my account for some reason. Now I have been sent another bill, but can’t get a hold of anyone and Glassmans “new” office says they can’t help me bc they don’t have my records anymore. And that I should schedule an appointment to come in and try to get it resolved. Ridiculous.

Did my surgery go pretty smooth? Sure. However, I call 2 days after to schedule my follow up, and they tell me that they have "closed their doors and do not have a new lease signed". She couldn't even tell me where the new office would be! Said I would hopefully be seen in the next 21 days.
I couldn't believe I just had ER surgery and now the surgeon who preformed it doesn't even have an office? !
I called so many different departments at the hospital to see who I should be seen by. No answers. I finally just booked an appointment with a PCP. Who was also SO mad about this situation. It's wrong!
Recovery after a surgery is already hard enough, but to be "ghosted" (for lack of better words) by your surgeon, is terrifying.
I also left 2 VMs for this "office" about scheduling a follow up, it has been almost 3 weeks since my surgery and I haven't heard a word. Pretty messed up honestly.

October 30 2023 I give a ZERO rating, I have been owed over $1200 in credit from my surgery beginning of August from what I paid them up front and after my insurance settled with them. I have left over 6 messages and texts to them. I got someone in billing on the phone and my check for refund was suppose to be in the mail and it never arrived. I am now being told they closed their offices literally overnight. Told on the phone that Dr. Stumpf is responsible for this leaving CANCER patients out of luck trying to get their refunds. I do have unlimited legal teams at no cost through my workplace and if I don't receive my refund shortly, I will pursue legal action.

This was my first experience with Surgical Group of Arizona. Everyone was professional and friendly, which is very helpful in this situation. Overall, I was impressed!

Dr. McClary is one of a kind. Brilliant surgeon but also a wonderful person and cares about her patients.

Dr McClary Took the time to explain to me everything that is going on what would happen during surgery if I choose to do, it also gave me information about what to do if I have another diverticulitis flareup. She took the time to explain to me with pictures and giving me ideas of how to get more fiber in. I have seen Dr. McClary since 2019 was the first time have not had to see her till now. She is great and explaining everything to you and taking the time with you.

Every single member of the team was very cordial and accommodating. Five star service all the way. I am very grateful to have chosen them for my procedure and will recommend them without hesitation.

Once I got my first appointment everything went well. I’m still waiting for the follow up appointment for my surgery.

Dr Cammarata made the explanation of my procedure easy to follow and understand. He made me feel that I was in his experienced surgical hands

Gina, the Drs surgery scheduler is the best. Her giving and answering my questions was comforting and reassuring. How could anyone not want to continue with surgery after speaking with her.
So off I go with the procedure

The office was very well kept. Check in was easy. The staff was very professional and even went above and beyond to help me with additional help! Dr. McClary was exceptional as always! I've been a patient of hers for all of my surgical procedures for over 15 years! She is the best from start to finish! I highly recommend her!

Dr. McClary is a great doctor and surgeon. She takes her time with you, clearly laying out (a lot of times by drawing pictures) a treatment plan, options, and next steps.

Wonderful physician that took her time to really explain to my daughter what is going on and how we can get her feeling better again soon. The office was so friendly as well. I would highly recommend this practice.

Had another surgical procedure with Dr. Fox-McClary. As always, she provided great care. The office is also wonderful. Staff is helpful and attentive. NPs and nursing staff have all been professional and caring. Office is also contracting with a great anesthesiologist. Aside from my surgical discomfort, which is unavoidable, I am very pleased with the ease of the process and the caring of the staff
