Great park slash hiking trail tucked behind i10. Plenty of parking and restroom facilities. Keep quiet and maybe you'll see some wildlife.

Amazingly tranquil place. Wonderful space for quiet birding, sketching or contemplation. Trees, water, and tall marsh grasses make for a beautiful environment.

Disappointed: heard they collared the bobcats for research - changing their natural habits. Garbage cans were overflowing. Coopers Hawk was our highlight. Hearing of the collars was upsetting. Shame on BIT!

My wife and I love to use the walking paths for our weekly hikes. Nicely maintained walking paths with the benefit of large ponds and lots of wildlife.

Just a note, as of this review (Oct-2022), the City has drained the ponds in anticipation of the annual dredging and burning so there's not much to see. After the New Year will hopefully result in the return of full ponds and wildlife.

The trail around the wetlands is easy to walk an you can't get lost since it ends up right where you started. The best time to visit is right after a good rain. The wetlands come alive with, dragon flys, frogs, coi fish, turtles an all kind of birds.there are ants, mosquitoes, flys, spiders an lizards as well. It is very quite an peaceful. A very nice place to be when you need to considerate on live. Now it's a little out of the way an kind of hard to find but once you do you will be back.

Normally it's great, but the water was drained and it smelled really bad on this last trip. Still birds, but nothing near the usual quantity.

Cool place to visit if you’re looking for a nice walk. Wish it was farther away from the interstate because you can hear the cars in the distance. It’s a paved loop with limited parking. We went near sunset and it started getting eerie when it was dark.

Different for sure but neat for wildlife and birds watchers! Around August and half September you may want to be careful for the flying biting mosquitoes for sure.most of the time it's not bad at all if just looking for quite place to walk around and if your out there about the time the sun goes down be careful where your stepping because of snakes.it's really neat to check out if never been there before. Pokemon Go can be played there also I believe haven't been playing the game for a while now so not totally sure one that.go check it out for your self.

It was my first time at an Audubon walk. We had a small group for our 6: 15 am trek for birds. The area is so lush with vegetation, I was amazed by the huge, old cotton wood and willow trees. We saw our fair share of birds, a small rodent, a turtle, a feral kitten, while being serenaded by bull frogs. The path is mostly paved. This time I brought my binoculars but the next time I'll bring my camera to try for some bird images.

Beautiful oasis in the desert. Green, lush surroundings. Ducks, bullfrogs and various types of birds. Very peaceful to sit there and listen and see it all.

This is One of Three places in Tucson that I love to visit frequently. This place was put together very nicely! If you love the water, animals, and peace. This is the place for you. Remember. It's best in the morning when is cool out. Enjoy and stay hydrated

Very nice and educational in the fact that Tucson has such a system for the environment to use their reclaimed water. A bird haven.

A beautiful oasis in the desert, this wetlands area attracts birds of many different species, not only waterfowl, but also songbirds, corvids, and other migratory birds. I've also seen bobcats, javelina, frogs, turtles, and cottontail rabbits while walking the paths. Even better, this park is helping Tucson to reclaim wastewater and recharge our depleted aquifers.

Who knew. A pretty wetland reserve near downtown Tucson. Lots birds. A variety of ducks, American Coot. Plenty of grasses and views of the valley mountains. Two lakes with loop trails (. 5 and. 6 miles). It is a flat trail suitable for seniors and children.

Beautiful wetlands located 5 minutes off the interstate. A plethora of wetland birds as well as all of our south-west desert birds. The trails are clean and wildlife is fairly abundant.

The old vegetation is cut back and the ponds are easily seen and more open. Clean and well kept. Not a lot of birds yet good photography for the patient folks

A little gem in the middle of Tucson. You will see a lake full of ducks and assorted birds, interesting vegetation, and from time to time, other animals. If you are able, don't make this a "one-and-done". The whole place looks completely different depending upon the season. Highly recommend!

I've been in Tucson for over 30yrs, first time actual visit! And I was in a wheelchair, due to foot surgery! Was my first outside visit in over 2 weeks! Afterwards, slept like a baby! A bit of fresh air, surely helped!

This is a very cute walkabout and is perfect for families with children. It’s very easy to walk and has several different places for photo ops.

Right off I-10 hidden gem to get out and walk around. Good for the elderly and kids. No dogs allowed due to the nature preserve
