Szechuan Restaurant, Sedona AZ

Great spot. Very tasty. I got Mongolian beef as well as some nigiri. Both were fantastic. Plus they were open till 9pm on a Monday! In fact they were still taking orders up to close with a smile on their face. And here I felt bad ordering for an 8: 30 pickup.:)

We enjoyed our visit very much. The waiter was personable and helpful. The menu and food were great. We will look forward to returning.

The food is what you would expect in a tourist trap honestly, over priced for sure.for no reason should one egg roll that was technically a spring roll wrap ever be 4.00 it was tiny. The sushi is medicore at best, I get better sushi from my guy in Camp Verde at bashas.

Two stars only because seating was quick, place was clean, well decorated and waitress was customer friendly. However, ordered kung pao chicken with white rice, fried rice and vegetable egg rolls; although the food came out fast the whole order was lukewarm and bland. Don't like wasting food so just ate it.

We tried this restaurant for a 2nd time and we're very disappointed.
The service was fair but items that were ordered were forgotten as well as not brought out to us at once. The food was sub-par, the meat was over cooked as well as dry. But what really pushed it over the top was when management allowed a dog (non-sevice) in a front chest carrier at/on the table next to us!
Totally unexceptable where food is served. We'll NEVER return to this establishment, period!

I am a local here in Sedona, I have been coming here for a very long time, I always order their sesame chicken, definitely one of my favorites, but I also love their Mongolian beef, their 3 flavor spicy noodle soup and their orange chicken! For appetizers their dumplings and cream cheese wontons are a must?

Very slow service. Party of 5 all received dishes at different times. Sushi Not Fresh! Fish color was odd. Black avacados. The cheese wantons, spring rolls and pork egg rolls were good.

This was my first time giving them a try, and I'll definitely be back for special occasions. I had the Teriyaki Chicken, Volcano Roll, and Rainbow Roll. It was super fresh, super tasty, and the flavor and spiciness was superb. (Only issue was there were a few tough spots in the chicken I had to spit out - the chicken just wasn't cut 100% properly.) Service was great, atmosphere was great. A little pricey but everything is these days.

You would think we could have one good "Chinese" restaurant in the Verde Valley. It's again just another ok "Chinese" food establishment

Have dined here every time we are in Sedona & always loved it so there was no question we would come again. I was so excited to have and enjoy shrimp with veggies last night but as soon as I opened up the to go container it had a horrible raw fish disgusting smell to it. I didn't want to not try it since it was $22! So I tried it and it was not great but it wasnt as bad as the smell, I just couldn't get past the horrible smell of it so I stopped eating it. I left more than half of the dish to be tossed out. I dislike wasting my money and food so I was a little upset about the whole situation. Also when we were trying to order the staff ignored us standing there for like 4 or 5 minutes and were discussing breaks and talking about other coworkers in front of us like we weren't even there. I got a negative and dismissive vibe from the workers just in placing the order. Like I mentioned we had been here before, not sure what happened but I didn't like the vibe, the smell, or flavor of their super expensive dinner plate.

The service was fast! We were seated right away after walking in, drinks were brought out within minutes of ordering, and food was brought out within 5 min of ordering. Sushi took a little longer but still was fast. Food was amazing! The sedona roll and the kung pao beef were our favorites. The servers were polite and checked in on us the appropriate amount of time. Great experience overall!

I don’t know why, but almost every time I’m ordering food it’s barely warm with cold broccoli on the top. It feels like they are warming up in microwave. And it’s not even second time. Server suggested me, to tell them about cold food, but from the first place, why I have to expect this problem every time I’m visiting them.)

Went on a Saturday & we got seated pretty quickly. We were a party of 5 and they put together 2 tables for us, so the service was very nice and patient. Servers also spoke Spanish. The food was yummy, I got the KungPao Chicken! Side note I got mind blown by the restroom. The doors for the stalls had no spaces which is a luxury in the USA

Food is over priced for the amount of food you get, but I would expect that in Sedona. First time eating here and in Sedona so will take this into consideration when visiting again.

Service wasn't the best. Only had the waitress come by once to refill our waters and bring our food other than that she never came back.

The servers all hung out by the door to the kitchen looking at guests talking loud, and it's probably a good thing the people in the restaurant didn't know Spanish as majority of them were cussing.

So take this into consideration when coming here.

Love this place and you will too! Now for part 2.part 1 was 4 stars now down to 3.service was horrible! After waiting for food for what seemed to be forever we never saw our waitress.the people close to us everyone got their food except for one.by the time she got her food the others were finished.terrible.actually ours took so long to get after 30 minutes we set a timer and gave it another 20 minutes.they just made it. We were ready to leave.probably not going back for a while.

They have Chinese and Japanese food and both are excellent. Try the Inari roll. It's a traditional Japanese staple. Simple and delish

I have to take the time to give a shout out to this restaurant. This Szechuan Restaurant was exceptional from beginning to end. When we walked in, they were very busy, good communication on how long it would be, and accurate - they got us right in. We had the Volcano Sushi for an appetizer and it was some of the best sushi I have ever had. Not that I'm a world traveler or anything lol; however, it was very very good. I've included photos of the meals that we had: General Tso's chicken, orange chicken, and sesame chicken. The service was excellent, they were on top of everything, and the food was served fast, hot, and everything was delicious!

Great quality and service! So refreshing to have great service and remain good quality food. Prices went up but quality went up as well. Thank you for keeping your food and service amazing!
