Tấn Phát Oriental Market reviews
15Come here all the time for the bun bao that is freshly cooked in the back. They also have an assortment of drinks.
Small market but with alot of good deals. Recommend checking out if you are looking for ingredients that frys and Safeway dont carry.
It has a lot of oriental products just very unorganized. Very small store for all the stuff they have. I was looking for precooked white rice I get at another Asian market farther from me and this score doesn't carry any precooked rice. The thing I did like was the variety of fish they have and they cut it for you there.
They have all kinds neat Oriental foodstuffs and housewares. Prices are very reasonable. The only problem is it's hard to find somebody to help you out, that can understand English.
Love this place! They have just enough of everything considering the area! It's not yet done me wrong!
Very nice Asian market. While small, it had everything I was looking for. I came for the vegan food! They have a wide selection of frozen mock vegan “meats” that are delicious and would easily win a blind taste test in comparison to other brands such as Gardein. A few options that I saw while there was: mock whole duck, fish, shrimp, cuttlefish balls, chicken and more. I am a huge fan of the products and wish more vegans knew about Asian markets!
Gotta love this place. It's not as glamorous as Super L, but as well stocked as Super L, with fresh fish and 5 lb bags of peeled garlic for $9!
Not many places have southeast asian produce, spices, & other pantry items. This store carries all the essentials and are open late.
A neighborhood store that has oriental and Indian food and fresh food such as galangal and banana flowers and fresh lychee nuts when in season. There always seems to be one person there who speaks English well and can help you find things.
Forget Lee Lee's this is the spot for groceries, I get the biggest kick out of chatting to the the mother and daughter at the cash register, I have no idea what they are saying half the time, just keep nodding.
Very friendly people.the owner was very helpful.helping me choose the right pan fried noodles for my dinner
+JMJ. Travelling with a friend from Cottonwood. Stopped in Tan Phat. Very nice store! Greeted by a friendly elderly gentleman who was one of the cashiers. I am not Asian but enjoy some foods. Found quite a few delicacies (to me that is) : pork uterus, pork snouts, chickens with heads, jack fruit size of a large watermelon with spikes! Vegan "ham" paste? ! Looking forward to my next visit! Great selection of Oriental and immigrant groceries. Wonderful unusual vegetables and meats. Quaint atmosphere and friendly help.
Absolute gem! When they say "Oriental Market" they mean ALL of Asia, from the east coast of Japan to India and even beyond. The produce blows my mind. Noodles, sauces, flavorings, pickled goods, spices, meat & fish, cookware, glassware. It's nearly a restaurant supply place. It's the only place I've found fresh lemongrass lately. It's not yuppiefied, it's utilitarian. Don't go there looking for a Whole Foods vibe, but you also won't get hit with Whole Paycheck syndrome. I bought an entire plastic bag full of produce for about $7. You must be willing to ask about produce, because it's not marked in English. Looking for an authentic pan-Asian market? This is it.
It's a great place to find items of an oriental nature! I couldn't read the labels.seeing as they were clearly not in english, that in itself told me this was authentic oriental fare. There are also two Asian restaurants in this quaint little shopping center. So have it made or make it yourself, you can't go wrong here.
