Terrible experience. We were new to the area and looking for a pediatrician for my son. We booked our first appointment, brought all our insurance paperwork and records. The appointment (on a Tuesday at 9 am) itself went fine (nothing notable good or bad).
This was during the COVID pandemic and we were looking to travel to visit my elderly parents so we needed COVID vaccination for my son. The first shot was done and they scheduled us for the second shot on a Saturday, saying those were the only days they were doing the follow up shot. When we arrived for that shot, they said it was TOO EARLY (what? You scheduled this!) and had us come back the following Saturday. They also billed us a 'premium' fee for a Saturday appointment even though that was the ONLY day of the week they were scheduling them. Talk about gouging!
Then, we went to schedule a checkup only to be abruptly transferred to Billing and told there was a balance due. This was news to me!
They stated our insurance had denied the claim. No notice sent to us about this at all. We called our insurance company and found out that not only had they billed it incorrectly but that they had ALSO billed an 'out of service hours' fee even though it was clearly in their normal service hours (Tuesday at 9 am).
After advising their billing manager (Rita) about the error and how to correct it, she refuses to do so.
We have since left the practice and do NOT recommend going here.

We love our doctor. During the summertime the rooms get pretty warm and the AC seems to be struggling. Wish this place was bigger with better Parking. Parking can really be tight so bigger trucks and SUVs may have a tough time parking.

This has to be the best peds office in the area. We came over to the office when my boys were toddlers. Our previous pediatrician provided a generic one-size-fits-all approach to our kids. The move over to this practice was so refreshing! With Dr Moher, every appointment is a conversation. She always provides options for less invasive approaches to minor medical concerns before suggesting more invasive solutions. I appreciate that questions are always welcome, and there is mutual respect for the different perspectives she as a doctor and we as parents have. We have seen every other doctor in the practice and have been just as impressed with each one. The nurses are all amazing too! The whole practice is an amazing team and we feel very confident that we are in great hands.

Best Pediatric office in Tucson! They are great with kids and very attentive. Dr. Watkins was awesome and he took really good care of our baby during our visit! Definitely recommend!

All of my children have gone here since they were either very small or newborn.this group of pediatric doctors are amazing and caring. I wouldn't take them anywhere else! Dr. Moher has gone above and beyond everytime!

All 3 of my boys see Dr Watkins. My youngest has complex medical needs and Dr Watkins has been amazing at listening to our concerns and helping us address them. He will never make you feel rushed or unheard in an appointment. He truly takes his time to listen and help. It’s also so easy to get a same day appointment and most of the time it’s with our doctor and within an hour or two. Wouldn’t take my kids anywhere else!

I just want to thank all the staff and doctors at Tanque Verde Pediatrics for taking care of my baby. They are always treating her so well but today they went beyond. Thank you so much for everything and for accepting my baby today!

We have been beyond pleased with the care we receive for our daughter through TVP! Dr. Herron is amazing, caring, accessible, friendly, and clear. Highly recommend! Thanks for taking care of Mackenzie so well and answering our many questions with a smile:)

By far the best pediatrician in Tucson! We love everyone we've dealt with at this office. Every single employee is nice, attentive, and professional. Our kids love Dr Moher and actually enjoy going to the doctor! Highly recommend.

RITA in billing is the most unprofessional encounter I have ever had. After calling bc a payment was applied to the wrong date and in order to get the bill paid it needs to reflect the correct date.she told me “it doesn’t matter what’s changed I still owe a balance” to which I relied “yes I understand but in order to get you paid the previous payments need to reflect correctly”. Then she started getting snappy and rude about it “not being important” (which when it comes to payment dates they are VERY important when in COURT!) The reason I’m calling in asking for the dates to be corrected is so they THEY CAN GET PAID! Then I asked her if she was this unprofessional with everyone she spoke with to which she responded “yep thanks” and hung up on me. Left a msg for the office Manager Katrina. Let’s see if I get a actual call back on the matter……

UPDATE: the office manager called me and was very polite and professional. She helped me get a resolution on the matter.
