Terraces Apartments, Prescott Valley AZ

I had applied here and told the lady all of my stuff credit background history all that stuff. She said nothing would be a problem so me and my boyfriend got our hopes up pretty high $350 later we get denied for “credit” saying the only way we can get an apartment there is if we get a consigner who makes 5x the rent 0 delinquency’s which is nearly impossible they are such a scam here save yourself the money and don’t even bother wasting your time. The next day we applied for the homestead and we got approved! Should’ve just went with my gut in the first place. The things that makes me most upset is the fact that they made me feel that I really had a chance and me being honest from the get go for them to not even bring up a co-signer until after getting denied wouldn’t ever have even applied if needed a waste of $350 i wonder how many other people they do this too and not only that how much longer until someone actually does something about this reading all there reviews now it’s sad how they treat others.

Neighbors do talk so if you want to know just ask the people stuck here what it is like. Before you sign take a WALK around this place on your own and see what you are buying. They only consistently keep up on the front office area. The worst part about living here was Tamara yelling at us (my disabled son and I) for trying to use the pool on a 90° day in may. She said "It wasn't pool season yet and was being fixed" but there were people daily using the pool (Since WHEN did we ever have a pool season? ! Never) but it was how she treated us. Apparently yelling at a family is her thing. We paid on time, never late and this is what we got.my neighbor was told that they'd call us about our package to be picked up after we had moved and she never did! That had my son's diapers in them because he NEEDS them and she sent them back without a call. It took over a week to get my autistic son's diapers off amazon at a markup rather than covered under his disability insurance. I HAD changed our address already a month before for this order but it never got changed over. This is the type of person who runs the office. Says one thing and does another. We lived here for 4 years and I can vouch (and yes Tamara I have photos, videos the receipts) that what people are saying about this place is 100% true. What to expect if you rent here is the following: systemic mold, flooding (our place was completely flooded months before we moved in and never was disclosed), pet feces becauseno one picks up nor maintenance stocks the doggie bins diligently, trash everywhere including not being able to throw it away because it is piled outside dumpsters, bugs, cabinet doors falling off. Don't bother putting in maintenance requests because it will never actually get fixed, I hope you know how to repair? Lmao (I didn't have working dishwasher for a year and was told to wash by hand and my oven barely worked for 2 years and I put in 8 requests! 8 requests and told 3 separate occasions they had a NEW oven ordered.never came. Our dryer ATE our clothes and screeched so bad. People steal your spots, the pool is always dirty. They raised our rent by 30% in one year and you get to watch other apartments get remodeled wondering when your stove is going to get fixed. Tamara is so lazy she didn't even do the final walk through! She told the maintenance worker to do it and turned her office hours sign around because she's too busy.to do a walk through y'all. They keep your deposits and yes you will have to pay last month which they lied to us about. This place is utter garbage. It was the worst place I had ever lived and glad we left. The rudest people I've ever dealt with (I worked decades in the hospitality industry) these people dgaf.

I'm utterly disappointed with this apartment complex and their complete lack of respect for their tenants. First, they raised the rent without any valid justification, making it impossible for my friend to continue affording the place. On top of that, the service was consistently terrible, with maintenance requests ignored and basic amenities frequently out of order. But the cherry on top of this disastrous experience was when they refused to return my friend's security deposit, citing bogus reasons that clearly violated the terms of the lease. This level of disregard for tenants' rights and well-being is simply unacceptable. I wouldn't recommend this place to my worst enemy.

The office staff blew me off everytime i had a issue including MY RAT PROBLEM THAT NEVER GOT FIXED, the fact maintenance techs had to come out multiple times to fux a simple problem, that i was told when my apartment flooded from a broken pipe upstairs and destroyed my stuff “sucks to suck” is what i was told, the apartment use to look nice with a playground and grass no weeds but they only maintain the area near the office not anywhere else proof is the “sandlot” with cinderblocks in the middle of the complex. However they decided to spend money on a new gym twice in a year and renovate the office but i couldnt even get a working ice maker in my fridge. Honestly the worst 4 years of my life due to the horrible treatment from staff, lack of amentities that work and the fact we had to pay extra CAM fee for even though common areas weren’t maintained. I would never recommend anyone live here

Awful. I would leave zero stars if I could.

Office staff is very unfriendly and rude. They were condescending and dismissive when we brought issues to their attention.

It was almost impossible to get a parking spot when getting home after 6pm. We often had other people parking in the covered spot we paid for and the office wouldn’t do anything about it.

Maintenance staff came multiple time to fix issues and were never able to fix the issues in a reasonable amount of time if at all.

Our washing machine and kitchen sink flooded our apartment on multiple occasions.

We had a mouse problem and lost hundreds of dollars of food. We constantly found mouse poop in our kitchen. This problem was not fixed despite complaining multiple times.

We paid a common area maintenance fee every month and there was always dog poop and trash littering the property. They couldn’t keep any of the common areas in good condition and yet added completely unnecessary renovations to the gym.

We were overall dissatisfied with our time here. I would not recommend this property to anyone.

I gave this one star only because I had to give it a star but I don’t even want to give it one star. The women here are very unprofessional and not helpful at all. They charge an insane application fee only to deny you. I received and email saying that I was approved for the lease (my portal also showed the same) but when I went in they told me I was not approved and did not want to help. I asked for a number or email of someone higher up and they refused to give it. Apply at your own risk, they’ll just take your money and deny you.

At first these apartments were great $5000 too move in was a little high but it was alright fast forward a year later when we are moving out we had a cracked window that we sent in a request for and a week before move out they replaced it on move out they ask for $900 for the window we refused then they requested another $5000 too move out of our apartment stating “that’s the way that we work you pay deposit and first month rent when you move in and move out” like what the heck? We denied that ended up walking from this apartment we still haven’t seen a cent of our deposit and we aren’t expecting our deposit back office staff is rude maintenance guys are trying but have no clue what they are doing beware if your planning on moving here don’t if you live here leave ASAP these guys are clowns.

Apartments are extremely pricey for how none-updated they are.
As much as my roommates and I loved living there, management has always been hard to deal with. We’ve had issues with management all year long, which made living there unpleasant. Ladies have always been rude and unaccommodating.
Not only that, but if we put in any maintenance request in or call about maintenance it would take at least a week and If not a week, a couple of weeks before they would send someone up, regardless of how bad the issue is.
Please note, if you plan on living there and own a dog, the one dog park they have is highly unsanitary and you have to call the office In order for them to remove the waste from the dog park. My dog has had health issues occur all year due to the uncleanliness in their dog park.
I can make list of things that have occurred with maintenance and management, but will not. Overall, I would avoid living in these apartments at all costs. Definitely NOT worth your time or money.
