Texas Canyon Rest Area I-10 East reviews
23Well it's only a hundred and forty some miles from where I started in Tucson but I'm taking a break already cuz I ain't hurrying
Must have the most amazing views of any rest area in the US. The rock formations are beyond awesome.
Wow! What a scenic view! Not a lot of spots for trucks (10?) But there's a Loves 14 miles away in Benson with at least 80 spots. Nice clean facility here. Great for pictures!
I travel this freeway constantly and I always feel safe stopping here. They are always clean and well stocked. They have vending machines locked up so they are in perfect condition. They have pet areas, picnic tables with shade and plenty of garbage receptacles. Everything is clean, inside and out. Plenty of parking for cars and trucks.
Great views and a nice clean safe rest area. Those who stop take photos, and on one stop the corvette club was there. They landscape is fascinating at Texas Canyon.
Basic rest area. Clean rest rooms, water fountains, and they had bending machines. Cool huge rocks near by to take pictures. What it lacked was better lighting for us folks that need to stop by at night from traveling with children, for safety.
The view is amazing!
The bathrooms are clean. It doesn't stink. And there is alot of toilet paper. Lol.
This is a beautiful stop at the top of very tall climb, great for young people to run around and stretch their legs!
Nice place to stretch your legs between long drives and walk around. Beautiful nature!
If you are driving east towards Houston then you should stop here and enjoy it!
Not a lot there. Just a couple of picnic tables. But a decent amount of pull out space. A welcome rest location.
Excellent rest stop! We always stop here on our way through. Great views, and Arizona does a great job maintaining it. We always stop at the memorial and pay our respects to officer Noah Merrill.
Plenty of space to walk around and stretch your legs
Not crowded at all that afternoon
Easy to pull into and leave from
Clean bathrooms
Basically exactly what you'd want from a rest area.aside from the potentially dangerous wildlife of course
Always clean. Nice view. Full handicap access. Drink and snack machines. Not manned, except for custodial duties.
Clean! But dont let your dogs run through the grassy areas.little tiny spikey things get in their hair.
Adequate for viewing the sights and cooling down engine after climbing mountains but RV parking is far too unlevel for anything else.
It was good and I specially like the view that it has so there's no outlets for charging your phones like the downside
The rock formations in Texas Canyon are like nowhere else. This stop has a good view and some close up examples of giant boulders crazily stacked and balancing on a pinpoint. Ladie's room large, no wait though busy, and acceptably clean.
Take your time and soak it in. This ones worth walking around and looking around for a bit. There's a very quiet, peaceful vibe here.
One of the most picturesque and beautiful rest areas in the entire state of Arizona. In fact perhaps the whole country. Plenty of parking. Clean facilities. Easy on and off.
The rest area was clean plenty of trashcans. Restroom are clean and there are maps and information of the state.
